Picts comparing P-64 to other pocketable pistols?
Here's something a bit different: how does a P64 compare w/ a 'mouse gun'? Now that I finally got the grips from Dennis for my CZ 1945 (.25 cal., or 6.35mm), I figured I'd use it. http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/t163/Rehnna/P64CZ1945-sides.jpg http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/t163/Rehnna/P64CZ1...

Pattern 1914 vs. M1917 Enfields
Cherry's Fine Guns has a number of P14s, in what appears to be the current reasonable price range for these (according to the handful I've seen elsewhere). See the bottom (under "Winchesters") here: http://cherrys.com/longguns.htm I have my order placed and will likely receive Tues. or Wed...

Pattern 1914 vs. M1917 Enfields
Other than the obvious differences between .303 and .30-06, are there any differences of note between these two rifles?
I've had my eye on an M1917 for some time, but recently stumbled across a small batch of P14s (Winchester make, no less) for a decent amount less than M1917s I've been seeing.

CZ-52 out of storage
Nice, Sapo. One of these days I'd like to take some sabot rounds to the range... Now, a question to some of the "pros." I've replaced the extractor on the CZ-52, but the new extractor pin can be easily moved up or down in the slide. What would be the best way to keep this pin in place? I'v...

Got my new grips from Dennis
Actually it's www.marschalgrips.com for Dennis' site (don't forget the 'c'). The wait is worth it, I have 2 sets currently in process (he gave then a shipping window of 14-19, w00t); one for a vz. 52, and another for a 1945 CZ (a .25 'mouse gun'). And I hear ya rottenrick, there's just something abo...

Found one of these at a gun show this past weekend (yes, I'll post pics when I can set up for it), and picked her up. Good bluing, bright barrel, all matching serials, only-slightly-scratched bakelite grip, intact Nazi acceptance stamps... for $260? Why, yes please. ;D I've been able to take her dow...

Ammo choices: Silver Bear 94 gr HP
I picked up a box of FIOCCHI 9x18 Police 100 gr. FMJ Truncated. The cases either seem smaller, or perhaps better manufacturing processes than the steel case Brown Bear. I know it's 6 grs heavier than is recommended. Any comments?? I seemed to recall something about not trying 9x18 Police in our 9x1...

CZ-52 out of storage
It was shipped with the pistol in the holster. I'll try some of the WD-40 later today. Now I just have to hunt down a new extractor spring and possibly a new extractor pin. At the range this morning, I had an FTE in the second magazine. That wasn't so bad ('within acceptable limits'), until I had an...

There's a decent chance you can find a CZ-75B under $500 (even if only slightly under). And if not a CZ-75B itself, there will likely be some of the CZ-75 clones around, such as the EAA Witness.dwd wrote:I'm not sure you can get a CZ 75B for $500 but you might. I'd like to have one of those too!

CZ-52 out of storage
Picked up a pair of CZ-52s, and one of them shows some marks on the slide that I can't tell whether it's rust, or something else (being red-green colorblind can be a real pain sometimes). If I could get some of ya'll's opinions, I'd appreciate it. I'm going to include links to the images, so I can l...
