Re: Got Myself a New Project
So I've been getting a little bit done. Here are two pieces, the mag release and main spring housing, 3D printed for test fitting. I found a main spring housing to measure, and the mag release was done completely from pictures and measurement from the frame. Both could use a little tweaking, but I h...

Re: Got Myself a New Project
Wow so you need all the parts for the slide and frame. Repro grips are available. Try Luger Doc over on the Luger forum he may have some of the parts. I know at one point he had new manufacture recoil spring and guides made up but they were going for around $120 http://forum.lugerforum.com/ Tom Hel...

Re: Got Myself a New Project
I have a slide and a frame. The goal is to make every other part for it. The idea is to try to find parts to replicate. Barrow them or buy them, something like that. http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e194/MZee_GT/IMG_0004_zps50dcdf23.jpg http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e194/MZee_GT/IMG_0005_...

Got Myself a New Project
Hey everyone, I bought myself a new project. A Rodom Vis 35. It needs a good amount of work. But I will keep you updated. On a side note, does anyone know of a good forum for the Vis? Pictures will come tomorrow. But just for reference here is a pic. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vis_pistol http://up...

Re: The New P-64 Mag Release.
Work has been keeping me very busy. Every time we finish one project we have 3 more pop up. Which is a good thing, but it does take it out of you a bit. The and I still have no house, which hopefully will be changing soon. So progress has been slow. I am working on modeling a new set of grips to wor...

Re: Anyone Ride a Motorcycle?
The Buells have under seat storage. Mine has the least amount of them. But I always play the safe card and assume someone that wants it might see me put it in there. I usually just do n't go to places that wont let me carry. Its not always possible to avoid them, but for the most part I can.

Re: Anyone Ride a Motorcycle?
My driver is a Buell XB12R. I love riding, but due to the new job this year I didn't get as much in as I wanted. Its already getting cold here in Wisconsin so I put the bike away. I have carried while riding. It seems easier because of the riding gear usually has extra bulk, so it hides well. But th...

Re: The New P-64 Mag Release.
I managed to get back on it a little bit. Here is the next refinment. There are still a couple tweeks left and a few finishing touches, but this will give you the basic finished design. Location and basic shape will stay the same. http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e194/MZee_GT/df1a822813da_44a90f07-...

Re: The New P-64 Mag Release.
Yes, it is ugly. It's the prototype. If its made it will be finished a lot better and made of 4140 instead of aluminum. But as you will see when I get the video up, its one handed mag drops, quick and simple. The biggest problem at the moment is the grips. They would need to be modified or they woul...

The New P-64 Mag Release.
Hello everyone. I am sorry for the wait on the new design. I went through many prototype designs trying to come up with a better concealed carry version of the release. I found after many tries the Poles had the original pretty much perfect for that use. The final design I came up with was so close ...

Re: P-64 Extended Mag Release
I am currently working on a version for those who carry their pistol. I just transitioned to a new job, so there was a little gap of getting set in that. But I'm back to work and hoping to have something for you all soon. Thank you for the review penguinsscareme.

Re: .380 barrel for P64
The barrel blank will only cost me about $20 so if I can have someone do the metal work for a reasonable price I will ba able to save the gun and have matching serial numbers on the frame and slide. I am willing to do the finishing work. Chamering, headspacing and cutting the extractor slot I just ...

Re: .380 barrel for P64
I got a P64 that was a training gun. The chamber of the barrel was cut and the firing pin hole was welded over on the slide. I want to return the gun to working condition and since P64 barrels are imposible to find I was going to convert it to .380 The gun was under $50 so it is just a fun project ...
