Is a bit scarce right now. Just ordered 3 boxes of PPU from Cabela's(should have ordered more.) I really want a 22LR conversion kit for my Bulgarian. Big gun show new weekend, wish me luck.

+1 get another in the caliber you want to swap to. Why mess with a good thing? I bought a 380 barrel just because I had heard some rumor to the effect that 9x18 ammo might dry up at some point. I'm not planning on switching out, just trying to get info. However, if I could ever get my hands on one ...

Sorry if I was unclear, but I was refering to a barrel for a Makarov not a P64.

I'm actually bidding on a Makarov barrel conversion kit just in case 9x18 ammo ever gets hard to get. I don't think much goes wrong with Maks either.

What breaks? These guns seem pretty rugged.
