Re: Kimber Ultra Crimson Carry II - 45 caliber - 3" Barrel
I just saw a picture of a Kimber Ultra Covert II. That tax refund sure makes it tempting.

Re: New P-64 owner
Thanks for the suggestions. I'll clean it thoroughly and then let the magazine sit loaded for a few weeks to help it break in before using it again. Oh, and thanks for the snap cap suggestion. I'll go look for some. Shop around for the best price. I do know Midwayusa has them: http://www.midwayusa....

Re: New Sites
If you could keep them from falling off, they would be okay. I've tried them on a couple of Makarovs, P64s, and PA-63s. On front and rear sights. I could never keep them on for more than a week to 10 days. They would probably stay if I didn't holster the weapon. Their DaySiters fared no better. Tha...

Re: New P-64 owner
I bought some new mags awhile back. They were doing the same thing. I loaded them up with 6 and let them sit for a few weeks. They are working now. Also, I do not like playing with live ammo so I used A-Zoom Snap Caps before using the real thing. :-) Here are the break in instructions on the mag pac...

New Sites
I was looking at these sites and wondered if anyone has tried them. It looks interesting, but I wonder if they would last very long. If they are going to slip off after a few weeks it would not be worth it. The ad was in Americam Handgunner, March/April, page 111.

Kimber Ultra Crimson Carry II - 45 caliber - 3" Barrel
Do any of you have experience or thoughts on this Kimber. I took a look at one and I am really tempted to get one.

Yes, but if someone could figure out a way to carry them they would save a bundle on gym fees.

I didn't change my springs. Let us know how your wife does with the gun. I have noticed my friends with small hands seem to have less trouble with the gun.

I already had that idea, even bought a backup. They fit under each side of my vest and provide some degree of bullet proof protection.

Re: Do you take your P64 jogging?
Thanks for the suggestions guys. Sounds like I'll probably need to rig up some sort of camelbak type setup if I want to run with the p64. Sgt P, how far have you taken yours? I'm such a minimalist when it comes to running gear, I'm not sure how I'll tolerate an extra pack (on the other hand, I woul...

I think there is something to what Norm says here. Also, fingerless gloves are a good idea if you are going to shoot a lot.normsutton wrote:SAS Mayhem

Re: Anyone store in a Jeep?
I noticed a neat little safe at cabelas. The inside is foam lined and it has a cable you could attach to something: http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/links/link.jsp?id=0005562229932a&type=product&cmCat=SEARCH_all&returnPage=search-results1.jsp&Ntt=gun+safe&Ntk=Products&...

Re: Laser Sight
If I go with a trigger mount I will probably create a holster problem.(God forbid) I would consider milling the slide but to me it looks wider than the gun. My daddy always told me "if it ain't broke don't fix it ." In this case, that might be the best advice! But I will wait and see what...

Re: Do you take your P64 jogging?
I have run with a Ruger LCP in a belt that is really just for gel and stuff like that. The P64 is a little bigger. I have to think you could find something, but for running long distance consider a smaller gun. The belt I have has been redesigned. I am not sure how big is is now. Here it is: http://...
