When you drop the trigger guard, are you pushing it to the side? Otherwise is still could lock the slide. Welcome to the group.

Welcome! I noticed That AIM is currently sold out of P64s. You may have gotten one of the last ones (from the bottom of the barrel, as the saying goes). Welcome! You got a good deal on that P64. When you said you almost bought a pf9, did you mean a Kel-Tec PF9? The reason I ask is that the Kel-Tec does not have a safety and is double action only, so it would not have meet your criteria for a cc pistol anyway. I personally own both and find the PF9 m...
