Groove Diameter
I measured the groove diameter of my P83 and it dimensionally checked at .3672 to .3674. Does that seem a little large or is it ok? I looked all over the net and couldn't find any groove diameter dimensions for any Makarov style pistol. Does anyone have a web site or manual that would confirm the gr...

I believe I will abandon this thread as this subject is like hitting your head on a brick wall. Open discussion on this matter seems to be verboten. So guys count me out.

Re: Buffalo Bore 9X18 Coming Soon
dfunk We do not know what powder they are using for the loads. Hornady uses new powders for their levereloution rounds that give more umph with less pressure. That is in the leveraction rounds. If they ever come out with it what quantity do you think some one should shoot before he is ok to proceed ...

Re: Buffalo Bore 9X18 Coming Soon
I have fired Buffalo Bore ammo for sometime now. Buffalo Bore does testing before it sells in fact quite a bit of testing. I think several of you guys miss the point. You don't shoot Buffalo Bore as a plinking round you save it for carry only. I use Buffalo Bore in a 32acp P230, .380acp P230 and if ...

Re: Potential Problem
I have the same on mine, and it is where the chamber starts and the slide ends. I fired several rounds thru mine of Hornady JHP 95gr thru mine and it is the best feeding gun for that load I have seen. Fired 25rds and no failure to feed. Hornady is now my carry bullet for the P-83.

joined the P83 crowd
I've had my P-83 now for a week and it was the dirtiest pistol I ever have gotten from a dealer (JGSales). It had more burned powder caked than I ever seen. Don't they clean guns in Poland. I was missing the loaded bullet pin and spring so JGSales are sending me one. I paid an extra $10 for them to ...

New to Forum
I'm new to the forum and I don't have a P64 as yet but I have a P83 and just haven't found the really nice P-64 I want. When I get a P-64 I will lighten up the springs and put new rubber grips on it and then carry it concealed. It looks like a good pistol to carry due to its size and hitting power r...
