Got a P-64 Today. Pic & ?

It is always a good idea to play it on the safe side with firearms. Death is so irreversible.
So is a bullet through your wife's bedroom mirror!

It may be repairable, but the damage is irreversible...

Should have my p-64 by wednsday......

but I believe I will hold off. I think the gun is probably most reliable the way it comes, and as this will be a back up ccw, I don't want to mess with reliability issues. Unless it is just unholy.... The DA trigger is like dragging a concrete block with a string... But it's very fixable -- fixable...

AimSurplus has 94-grain Silver Bear JHP

My CZ82 is very accurate and the recoil is better than my Mak and of course my P-64. *** Hey, this is the P64 forum so I will say that I like many things about my P64, but the size and the like-new quality in addition to the reliable operation for me with FMJ are the highlights to me. I've been wan...

Defensive Ammo

Does anyone happen to know if the corbon or golden sabre bullets are available for reloading? Yes and No. Remington makes Golden Sabre bullets available for reloaders, but apparently not in 9x18 Makarov. http://www.remington.com/products/ammunition/handgun/golden_saber_HPJ.asp http://www.huntington...

Thanks

Indeed, you guys are terrific. I am a moderator on the Ohio CCW website, but I tend to spend nearly as much time here as there. The information here is clear and specific.

Thank you so much!

Defensive Ammo

Learned from cops to alternate HP & FMJ in smaller caliber weapons.

Works for me
That only helps if you are hitting more than every other shot... ;)

New Pocket Holster

Danger! Danger, Will Robinson! I seem to recall that if you are able to fire your weapon while it is still in the holster, it may qualify as an "Any Other Weapon" under the ATF's guidelines. An AOW requires a license and a fee (duh!). You might want to check this vague rumor out, lest some...

Wow! What a sweet little piece...

Tunnelrat, I'm about 60 miles NE of the Yough Dam in Somerset County. Little coal mining town in the Alleghenies, where I grew up. Spend summers here at the old homestead. Weather sure beats the rest of the country most of the summer. Some locals have been fishing the Yough dam outflow area for BIG...

Abwehr's pic makes my screen go wobbly, but it is worth it for the wonderful view. Thank you! b52stan, SW PA is not far from my summer vacation home at Deep Creek in the Youghiogheny River valley of Maryland. I'm a mile from PA and four miles from West Virginia. I'm getting too old for whitewater ra...
