Hey Talon,
I have had my P64 for some time. I also looked the internet over trying to find any info on my choice for CCW. Some try and throw you off like dirty water. I think you will find us all willing to help anyway we can. Myself glad I finally found a home. Welcome

First welcome to our forum. I think you will find us all civil here. And any legit gun discussion is permitted. Like the white box 9mm Para..it would be nice to have some softer load for our 9X18... However most of us use it for CCW. Again welcome.

Grips??
Papabear welcome to the forum. I think I've seen you on some others. Our forum has been very civil and open to any legit discussion on firearms. I too look forward to see what our little weapon is going to look like with some decent grips. It will truly be a beautiful little pistol.

Sight Enhancement
My understanding.. Instinctive shooting is with both eyes open..Take some paper plates. Holster the weapon or until you have some practice, hold the weapon at your side. Focus on the target..Drop into your combat stance and fire. Practive enough and your weapon will follow you line of sight. Target ...

Sight Enhancement
Practice is the word.. I just don't shoot as much today as I did as a kid..When a kid my friends(when shooting just 2)and I would put up bottles, cans and practive snap shooting (instinctive). We progressed to turning our backs and when theother shouted NOW, we turned found the target (can, bottle)a...

gunboards thread
I've been following the thread on Gunboard since it started. I cruise about 3-4 forums everynight. As you can see I don't post that often. I've had my P64 for sometime and thought maybe I was the only one with this very fine CCW weapon. And your right, ask a question on some forums and your immediate...

Better then a Makarov? Possible
I've had my P64 for almost 2 years now. I searched the web at that time and there was hardly any info on the P64. And most of the Mak folks got a little testee. There is a thread running thru a lot of the posting the last few days saying what I have been trying to say to anyone (Other than a P64 own...

Did any of our members see ABC's 20-20 the other night? The reporter was John Stosel (sp) There was 10 subjects like a myth buster. One of the myth's was that gun control reduces crime, etc. in this country. Be it city. county, state. The truth according to the report was that gun control does not r...

Trigger Bar popped out - HELP please!
Welcome to the forum.. Not sure I can describe how I fixed mine. First a screwdriver will not work. If you look at one end of the bar there is a small "shaft" that is scored on the end (grooved). The end of that small spring fits into the score. You can't get to it with a straight tool. I ...
