J&G is Killing Me
I'd love to see some pics of your new gun.. By the way, pay no attention to my "stamped steel" blather. I have to find a way to talk myself out of buying ANOTHER gun.

J&G is Killing Me
To be honest, the P83 doesn't impress me much from what I'm reading. The slide and frame are both cheap stamped steel and the trigger might as well be a coat hanger. I wouldn't want to conceal that thing and even try to draw it. The enduring quality of the P64 is it's small size. It's a great CCW gu...

Just to be clear Gary, are you saying that the guy came in to your store with this gun or just reposting? This picture seems to be on every forum with a different story. Heck, this guy says he blew it up at a range. http://www.gunandgame.com/forums/smith-wesson/88267-kaboom-another-ouchy-s-w-629-a.h...

Hold on guys, you are spinning off track. The Radom P83 is not anything like the CZ 82/83. These are completely different guns. The CZ82/83 guns are current production guns and parts are plentiful. The P83 is a retired Polish Police/military pistol. Polish P83 http://i212.photobucket.com/albums/cc81...

p64 vs keltec pf9
For my two cents I agree the Kell Tek is just NOT a gun you want to trust you're life with the P-64 you could run over with a T60 and drop it into mud set it on fire and throw down a cliff pick it up and it will work flawlessly same for the CZ82. If you're looking for modern subcompact and reliable...

I wonder if parts would be more readily available for the P83. I love my P64 but the thought of something breaking in it gives me pause sometimes.

Hello Everyone - Looking to pick up a P64
Cool beans. What prompted you to get the Wolfff springs? Just preventive maintenance? I got the Wolff trigger/hammer spring to lighten the trigger pull. I figured I might as well get the heavier recoil spring while I was ordering since it was only a few $ more. I like the final outcome. The pistol ...

Safety Has 3 Positions - ???
I had a similar issue when I bought mine. After I polished everything up I sat in front of the TV one night and manipulated the safety off/on for an entire hour. By the time I finished it was smooth as silk.

Hello Everyone - Looking to pick up a P64
I have shot the Hornady XTP, Barnaul, Silverbear, Brownbear and CorBon through mine with no feeding problems. Maybe a short break-in period is required to wear in the feed ramp, barrel ramp and breech face. If you chamber a round, and slowly ease the slide into battery, does yours hang up? If so, h...

The P-64 in the foreground looks kinda gnarly. I think I received that one in my last online purchase. Nah, I think it looks like a gun is supposed to look. Well used and functional. The bluing on mine looks pretty worn but it earned every bit of it. I think my P64 and my PM make fun of the pretty ...

P64 VS Kel-tec P3AT??
jbabs, I don't know what it is, but I just can't join the 'Made by Mattel' bandwagon. Guns ARE SUPPOSED TO BE METAL, with wood grips. Guess I'm getting senile. I hear you Rick. My two Steyr pistols are the only two tupperware pistols that I like to carry anymore. The P3AT is my wife's and I'm just ...
