Re: Heads Up - J&G Sales Taking Pre-Orders

My JG pre-order just arrived. I did not elect for a hand pick. I'm very pleasantly surprised. It's in excellent condition, with a tiny bit of holster wear by the muzzle and no wear anywhere else. It's not dirty or covered in cosmoline. Also.. the DA trigger is not bad. Nothing like the DA trigger of...

Re: weight of carry p64 vs pa63!

thanx guy's...I held a pa-63 and it seemed lighter but your replies indicate that the difference isn't as much as I thought. so it looks like I may just get cz-82 instead...I like them best anyway. pa-63 is DEFINITELY easier to carry than a cz-82. it gets a tad iffy when comparing the pa-63 to the ...

Re: field stripping a bear

I don't know why this is happening, but I can tell you that I have a Bulgarian Makarov that is a bear to get back together. It comes apart easy, but it takes a good 20-30 tries to go back together. My PA-63 and P-83's all come apart and go back together easy as pie.

Re: Thinking about buying a P-83 Wanad but need some help.

Very stout pistol, only real crudness of pistol is sharp edges and not enough exterior work on pistol with fine sand paper. If you wanted too and had time you could make it into a nice looking pistol. Of course with a re-bluing. The P83 is more of a combat type of pistol than a CCW even if you refi...

Re: comparison of pa-63 and cz-82?

I bought my pa-63 about 2 yrs ago just as I was getting interested in 9x18s. It was my first 9x18. I bought it for $139.00 in new (unissued) condition. After adding the Wolf springs, it has a great DA trigger and really is a pretty good shooter. Cosmetically, its my opinion, its also the nicest loo...

Re: comparison of pa-63 and cz-82?

Both good guns, but CZ82 a bit large for CCW (IMO) tho much nicer/easier to shoot. Seems to me the P64/P63 serve same purpose--good for CCW with lousy DA pulls. Solution: get a P83! Great DA, accurate, and small enough for CCW-- My PA63 had a horrible DA trigger pull when I first got it. That was t...

Re: How much for a PA-63

They're currently $150 from southern ohio gun, and mags are $13. I have one from this batch it looks brand new, like it was made yesterday. It didn't even have a touch of cosmoline on it either.
