bullet molds for the Makarov

The first handgun I ever shot was a custom 357. I was 11 or 12 years old. I thought it would be nice to have one and left it at that. Then when I was 18 I bought a lever action .357. I have always liked lever action gun and 357 bullet were cheaper that 30-30 bullets. I like the round. I think its a ...

bullet molds for the Makarov

Thanks for the picture. I want those bullets with a flat nose. Most semi-wad cutter bullets today are called "Keith" bullets, but the design is not correct. A true Keith bullet has a long nose with a large meplat. Why did he use this design? The relatively sharp edges of the flat nose and ...

bullet molds for the Makarov

I have a picture of the mold design but I can't figure out how to post the picture. It would be a 100gr bullet. The basic shape is that of a Hornady hollow point without the hollow point.

How do you lube your rifle cases if you don't use a lube pad. Do you just lube them by hand?

you size your cast bullets to .363 and your barrels range from .363 to .366 in your P64. How does the size difference affect accuracy?

Reloading the 9x18

I have been reloading Hornady XTP for my P64. I load them in trimmed down 9mm brass as well as standard 9x18 brass. The easiest way to get the bullet seated at the right depth is to get some Hornady XTP rounds and use a factory loaded round and set the die to the factory round.

Where I live everyone gets water in their basement certain times of the year. I plan on running a dehumidifier and reloading in my basement. With that said I know some people that have a special room and they keep a dehumidifier running 24/7 to maintain low humidity. My neighbor, on the other hand, ...

bullet molds for the Makarov

Lee will make a custom bullet mold for a set up fee of 100 dollars and then the two cavity mold is 26 dollars and the six cavity mold is 52 dollars. Are any of you interested in a round nose flat point bullet mold? We could evenly split the set up fee and then you buy the mold. Or if there are 25 of...

I was given a lee kit. The hand primer is nice. The scales are junk and the powder measurer is less than to be desired. The press in nice and I like the quick change feature. When I buy a press it will probably be a turret press. If I were to get a kit I would have to agree with Norm go with the lym...

If they are cast to .366 your in business. If you can get the molds as well that would be a plus. You can use an old Colman camp stove and a lead pot with some wheel weights and cast hundreds of bullets. I am sure if the guy used to cast bullets he could fill you in.
