Thanks rottenrick,
I just checked with Century Arms, it is indeed listed as coming soon. Hopefully that means in the next couple of weeks or so.

P64 parts availability and PA-63
Thanks to rottenrick and jsmaye for your responses. I just left the centerfire systems website. The PA-63 is listed as out of stock and no backorders accepted. I already gave up on Makarovs. At this point, I have already decided that another P64 is the way to go. If I can find a CZ-82 along the way,...

P64 parts availability and PA-63
After doing some more research, the availability of the PA-63 seems to be slim to none. I think I will get another P64 and keep it for my spare carry. My current P64 is a 1975 model.

P64 parts availability and PA-63
Thanks for the reply. I have seen PA-63s and a couple of Makarovs for sale at a couple of online stores. My local vendor does have P64s in stock but they are a little pricey at a sale price of $199.99 regular $224.99. I found a source online that sells them for $159.95 or 154.95 if you buy two or mo...

P64 parts availability and PA-63
Good morning all, I have noticed from reading this board that most parts for the P64 that seem to wear out appear to be available either from one of our members or a known outside source. That being said, I have a limited budget and space issue and am going to purchase another 9x18. I was thinking o...

Is the Recoil Really that BAD??
I fired 30 rounds through it this past weekend and found that once I got used to the recoil, it wasn't that bad at all. I called it my little popgun. That is because I had just finished firing 50 rounds through my 40 S&W so the 9x18 felt a little smoother at that point.

Trigger malfunction
Now that I have solved the problem and am back in business, is there a recommended or suggested way to keep this from occuring again? I will be going back to the range in a week or two and I am sure I will be cleaning the weapon again.
Thanks,
Ogdengunner

Trigger malfunction
Thanks everyone for your responses. Now that I have had a chance to sleep on it, here is a quick recap of the sequence of events. After removing the slider and cleaning, I replaced the slider. At that point, I noticed that when pulling the trigger, it did not function correctly, it just freely moved...

Just another quick update. I thought I had the problem solved but now I have the opposite problem. The trigger will not pull.
I am totally baffled at this point. Maybe it is time to see a gunsmith? ???

Thanks, I found that reference and you are right!! It is a royal PITA to put back on. I must not have the right tools. I have been trying for the last 30 minutes unsucessfully to get the spring under the transfer bar. It is not easy by any means. I feel like I need at least three hands to do it. I'l...

>:(Hello everyone. Just joined and have a question. I acquired a P64 today in good condition and have test fired it. After I field stripped and cleaned the gun, I hit a major snag. After replacing the slide, I find that the trigger mechanism no longer functions correctly. I can put the gun on its si...
