I will have to take a look at other similar set ups, Makarov, Smc918 and PPK to see if they have flattened springs.

Yes they need to be dependable and give us the reassurance that they will do a good job when called upon, unlike some of the other things in life, Congress for example.

The P83 was a cheaper solution and I think no one in Poland was probably happy with the trigger pull and punishing recoil so cut yer losses and sell them to the Amercanskis' they buy anything that goes BOOOM
