48 years old and I develop corporate income tax software (accountant by education). 11 years and 1 month until I can theoretically retire (good Lord and the stock market willing).

How's Your Weather?
That is NOT what you typically find on the beach here. Add about 40 years and a thousand wrinkles and see how you like her in a thong.

How's Your Weather?
Our weather has been either terrible or fantastic - depending on your point of view. For the yankee snowbirds, it has been fantastic. Temperature yesterday while I was hanging Christmas lights was in the 80's. If you are a hunter, the weather is terrible. It's hard to get excited about sitting in a ...

Interesting sightings at the Tampa show today
At the Tampa gunshow today, I saw 2 P-64's. Both were marked in the mid to high $200's. Too rich for my blood. Best deal I saw on a Mak caliber (besides the boatload of PA-63's) was a dealer that had CZ-82's for $215. If I hadn't already spent my show money on a rifle, I would have grabbed one. The ...

Auto-loading 12ga.
I had a Stoeger M2000 for a month or so. Never shot it so I can't comment on how it shoots, but it seems well made. I understand they are less than 300 new.

A question for you all...and maybe a favor
I can't tell you specifically what makes a good forum, but I admire your taste in dogs. I've got one Boston myself currently and have had half a dozen over my lifetime.

LAKELAND GUN SHOW
I can't understand why Suncoast would want to schedule a show on the 2nd weekend of deer season (and the start of the only doe week we have).

Winchester Ranger
The Hornady recall was for a specific lot number that had a couple of reports of squib loads. All the current stock is well past that. I don't see how anybody could think hogs are cute. They certainly aren't loved here. A family of hogs will tear up a golf course or newly planted lawn in one night. ...

Winchester Ranger
Garry, the Ranger was Winchester's "value" production during the latter years. It has a generic wood stock instead of the high dollar walnut. As far as I know, the action is still the same as the regular '94. I bought one almost 2 years ago at Walmart. It was on clearance for $175. I could...

Converting CZ 52 to 9mm Luger (SHOOTS REALLY WELL)
Good luck. I still have not tried firing my 9mm barrel. If you do have to do some crowning and extractor work, try to post some pictures. I, for one, would love to see examples before I try and do it myself.

I'm originally from SW Georgia and have lived in Florida since the mid 80's. I'm now in Bradenton (bottom of Tampa bay). 11 years and 3 months until I can theoretically retire and move back to Georgia where the people and prices are more normal. primarchbentley - I spent 4 years behind the Zion curt...

Finally got to use my P-64 on a real target.
hahaha, I'm picturing someone opening fire on a snake in the middle of suburbia, did anyone come out to see what the shooting was about, (good you got it though) Na. Like I said, I live in a rural subdivision. All the houses have at least 1 acre lots. Of the 4 closest houses to where I shot, the sm...
