I see. So, take the course in MI then send the paperwork to UT and wait. Well, you learn something new every day. Actually, since joining this forum I've been learning lots of new things. Always a good deal.

Carrying Tips
LOL. Yeah, they'd either run really fast in front of you or they'd get out of your way! I've never been much of a runner but I do enjoy bicycling and have been toying with a way to mount a holster to my bicycle tubes. Quite a few more options there than on a runners body. Maybe this year I'll get it...

What does it cost to renew cc permit in your state
Got ya, dwd. Yeah, ok, I did a bit more research, dug a little deeper, (more like finally linked up to the right sites), and found that Michigan doesn't acknowledge the Florida non-resident permits. Bummer 'cuz Florida's is much less expensive since they would accept my DD-214 as proof of firearms t...

What does it cost to renew cc permit in your state
UT is $10 for renewal every 5 years. Good reciprocity, good recognition from other states. In fact, so many people from other states apply for UT permits that there's a current bill to limit issuance to UT residents only. Highly doubt it'll pass, fortunately... Over 142k active permits as of Dec. 3...

I see that Cheaper Than Dirt has both S&B and Brown Bear offered for the same price. I may just try both of them and see what results I get. From what I have read here from all of the responses you've given me S&B seems to be the preferred brand but B.B. has a few takers, too. Anyway, CTD is...

TED NUGENT on guns and freedom
Ya just gotta love the guy. Even if you don't agree with everything that he says or does, he certainly has a way of putting things that are "right in yer face," and "to the point."

P-64, For the Ladies? I don't think so!
Trace Nice choice on the P22, that's what I got for my wife and she loves it. I have a friend, a rather large and stocky guy who was shot with a .22 and says he never wants to be shot with anything again, not even a .22. He said the pain was enough to double him over. I load my wifes P22 with Veloc...

What have you been doing lately?Updated 5/13/09
Wow, that bench looks really good. I hope to be able to do a project similar to that this spring or early summer in my garage. I want to set up a place to both work on the gun, reload and, probably separately, set up a small knife making area so I can work on some of my own, personal designs. From t...

Wow, Stuckman, looks like you have been busy. This weekend we had our annual Bark River Knife Collectors Association Ice In. Folks from the knife association as well as the forum that my work is on come up here to the U.P. and make their own knives (with varied degrees of assistance from us employee...

What does your P-64 do?
She's kind of a combination of primary home defense, camping, and target shooting. I definately want to get a few more but she's the only handgun I own right now.

Protector, Good articles. I knew that the sales market for firearms had gone up but I didn't know by how much. Kind of eye opening and well, a boon for the manufacturers as well as the gun owners. We can't have too many of them. I know I want to make a few more purchases myself. Just biding my time,...

Ha ha! Good one. I'll have to remember that one since the only range I have near me is indoor. I'll probably have to buy a round at the bar afterwards, though, just to keep in the good graces of the club!
