Cheap Slip on Grip
Thanks for the tip. I cracked a grip, glued it with Gorilla glue, then covered it with a bike tube when it was dry. I shot 50 rounds thru it today. Incidently, I didn't qualify for the Polish army, but the grips held up and I like the feel.

zastava 32NAA update
As I understand it the model 70 zastava is 32acp. The model 67 zastava is 380. All parts on the two guns are interchangable except the barrel and the magazines. Writing this made me realize that I bought a zastava because I was waiting on the Mak version. Doesn't take much to convince me to buy anot...

zastava 32NAA update
This may not be important to all of the P-64 people, but to the Milsurps in general, I received an email from George at Makarov regarding the 32NAA barrels for the Zastava 32ACP pistols. "We are planning on barrels for these as soon as the magazines and other spare parts are imported. No time f...

Who carries to Church
This Christmas I had my guardian in a wallet holster at Christmas Eve Mass. Sometimes my wife dresses me funny and I was wearing a pair of pants that I don't normally wear. Right after we were seated, I noticed that the guardian didn't fit all the way down into my back pocket. I could almost feel th...

some P-64 history
No, I have not done it before. From what I understand, all parts on the zastava model 70 (32cal.) and the model 67 (380cal.) are interchangeble accept the barrel and the magazine. I hope Makarov.com starts selling the barrels for the zastava like they have for the Maks. The zastava comes apart like ...

some P-64 history
Herrmannek, Thanks for showing me the acapela site. I finally learned how to say "zastava". I have had the pistol for several months and did not know how to pronounce it. I plan to put a 32NAA barrel in it with a 380 Mag out of Zastava model 67. This would make a really nice weapon. Heavy ...

Off With My P-64
I'm off to rural Oklahoma for a white trash Christmas. The targets are already set up behind my nephew's mobil home. I will be taking my P-64 and the 32 guardian that I just got back from NAA. NAA put $468.00 in my guardian at no cost to me. Great company. Merry Chistmas from Oklahoma.

How did you find us?
I saw a link in the Makarov forum in November, and haven't been back. Thanks again Dickfunk for putting this together.

How do you carry?
Saturday, at a gunshow in Oklahoma City, I bought an in the pant holster, black cordura with a metal clip. I ask the vender if it would fit a walther PPk, rather than enlighten him. I took the metal clip off and replaced it with kydex that lets it hang about an inch lower in my waistband just right ...

P-64 and Walther Grips
The grips from a walther PPK will not fit on the P-64. The spring in the back of the gun is lower on the P-64 than on the walther. The PPK grip is a wrap around instead of a two piece. I tried pressure and mild profanity but it did not want to go. It slips easily onto the walther. My walther was a g...

How are you carrying the P-64?
My brother accicdently dropped my P-64 on a hardwood floor, loaded, one in the pipe, safety on, with the hammer down. The gun did not go off. We discussed the dangers of this maneuver as we walked back to the scene of the dropping, (which took about ten minutes). That is the only gun drop I have eve...

For concealed carry, I've got the Taurus ultralite in 38 special with a hip grip or the Guardian, but when I go to the range I like the P-64

P-64 Grips
novgarod, I'm right handed so the Thumb rest would only be an advantage for me. If you don't find any flat grips, I'll swap grips with you. Mine are flat. I guess they are the standard black grip. Bought my P-64 at a Gunshow this summer. It's a '71, I assume they will fit. My email address is on the...
