The bottom one is the Phoenix HP22. I can't take a photo of it alongside the P-64 right now. It sells for $120 in the local stores here.
The other is my S&W 2213.

I have a Phoenix HP22 that is a very similar size. It has been a decent pistol for me. Recently it started having failure to fire issues, and a close inspection revealed that the firing pin pathway was worn pretty bad. I called the company, and they said send in the slide, it will be repaired and co...

Vepr .308
I do not care for the M16 style rifles, just not my thing (I'm a Ford man, too). The HK/G3 leaves me cold, too (don't like blondes, either). The FAL is doing ok, but I would prefer wood furniture. A Springfield would be great, however I don't have the ~$1450 being asked for the M-1A SOCOM II Scout t...

Vepr .308
Anyone have much to say about these rifles? I have a friend who has one, and states they are worth the thousand dollar asking price. Be interested in hearing more from others about it.
Thanks, y'all!

What I learned about my p-64 today . . .
I have really enjoyed this thread. Lots of good thoughts on this issue. I take issue with this statement from butch50, tho…..”I am not impressed by people who think they live in a world that requires them to walk around with the safety off - the people that I have known in person like that have been...

Thanks for taking the time to read and reply. I have a Beretta 950 in .25ACP, and after searching around some more I have found two online stores that are selling ammo for ~$10 per 50 rounds. Guess I will just go that route.

Wolff firing pin spring
Your original post says you bought a 20 and 22lb spring to help manage recoil. I did the same thing but have only installed the 20lb recoil spring. I have yet to shoot my P64 with the 22lb spring. Have you tried both in your P-64 and if so, which did you prefer? I have two P-64s, and I put the 22lb...

Pocket Carry Holster ?
I have a dumb question for y'all..... In which pocket are you going to carry a P-64? I like the idea of pocket carry, cuz so far the IWB holsters don't cut it for me. I have been considering a Kangaroo set up... http://www.kangarooind.com/ ...but ain't sure about that one either. I wear blue jeans 9...

A different holster
I want a "small of back" inside the waistband holster for my P-64. The closest thing I have found is this.... http://www.mernickleholsters.com/ps/ps2sobr1/ps2sobr1.html I was just talking to the owner, Bob Mernickle, who told me that he does not have a casting (?) to make a holster for the...
