Re: Grips v.04 range test

No, picked one up from Ace hardware that is longer. Metric size M3. Reusing the oem nut since it's smaller and thinner won't need to counter sink it as deep. Need to cut off a little bit of length, new one is just a little too long.

Re: Zestava m88a

I didn't get a case but it came with 2 Magazines, cleaning brush and a lock. It's a much better gun than you would think for the cost. And even more important, it's not a High Point brick... Sorry High Point fans.

Re: Grips v.04 range test

Already tried the heat and squeeze, didn't help. I drilled the grips out and put in a grip screw, now they don't move. Sounds like Russ is settling on v.05, the wrap around. Hopefully we will see them soon to try too.

Zestava m88a

This is the Zestava m88a, 9mm. I bought it from Buds for $216.00 shipped. That includes Buds $10.00 life time warranty. This has become one of my favorite handguns in my collection. Out of the box it's NOT ready to shoot, it need a good cleaning and pretty much all metal to metal surfaces polished u...

Re: Grips v.04 range test

Recoil felt about the same, but overall grip felt better. I Tinkered around with the grips and my opinion is that a snap on like this will not stay tight and will keep moving back and forth. If you look at how the grips are made, the front has a edge that slips over the front edge of the frame. That...

Grips v.04 range test

Took the p64 with v.04 grips to the range this morning, fired 50 rnds with no trigger reset problems. After 20 rnds or so I was getting back and forth movement. By 50 rnds they were loose. I will probably hit them with the heat gun and squeeze them in to get better clamping of the grip and see if th...

Re: Loaded chamber indicator seems loose

Not normal, there is a small retainer piece (indicator Lock) that drops over the indicator. Part 31 on the p64 parts diagram. Yours may be missing

Re: Help! Slide locked.

Just a guess, slide stop lever stuck or bulged barrel. Maybe take off the grips and look. Inspect ur barrel. Some one will probably chime in with another idea or two.

Re: Russ's grips v0.4

First thing I did was dremel down the top right side a little. Compare it to the original grip and you can see how it's basically cut out for the trigger bar. I just took it down a little to allow clearance for the trigger bar. Dry fire testing works fine. Live rounds this weekend

Russ's grips v0.4

Received the grips today, did I little dremeling as Russ instructed and installed the new grips. Gotta say, the fit is very nice and they snapped into place without any problem. They feel real good in the hand wi5h the extra swell. Dry fired numerous times and all functions were normal. Will get to ...

Re: Stiff safety lever

If you want to remove it and Polish the part up, there is a thread Called " made some videos" don't know how to link it up in a post, but watch his videos. He goes step by step on disassembly, and even I was able to get it apart and together again without too much problem.

Re: Stiff safety lever

Mine was pretty stiff too, ended up taking the safety out of the slide and polishing the parts. Not the easiest thing to put back together but there is a few good videos on YouTube on disassembly of the slide.

Midwest Supply Group.. FAIL..

Wasn't sure where to post this, but here is my experience with this company. I purchased a scope mount for my ak47. UTG PRO American made. The mount will not fit onto the scope rail more than 1/4 way, and is then canted left. Emailed Midwest for return authorization. Was told if it's unopened they w...
