P-64 as a carry weapon.

I grew up in a military/hunting/fishing family, and went into the military myself right after high school. I have always been around guns and was going hunting as soon as I could keep up, and by myself at 12 years old with a double barrell 12 gauge shotgun. Guns are just second nature to me. My wife...

P-64 as a carry weapon.

My wife was a gunaphobic when we married. Now she owns 3 that she has stashed in separate places in the house so that she can get to them quickly. When I first got my CHL and started carrying she was kind of skeptical about it, but lately she has asked if I am carrying when we are out and about - an...

P-64 as a carry weapon.

Al - I want one! I want to mount it on the hood of my car - betcha I could get to work faster! Milsurpcop - the debate about individual freedom often becomes centered on seat belt laws, and for good reason. Seatbelt laws are a powerful argument for laws that are for the individual and collective goo...

P-64 Pocket Holster

An update: I have been using this leather pocket holster now for closiing in on two years, and I have to say it is the best pocket holster I have ever owned. It does not soften up and break down the way the pocket holsters I bought did. If I carried IWB, I would make my own holsters for that too - i...

P-64 as a carry weapon.

Don't take me wrong, I am not upset at anyone, I am trying to point out a major fallacy in a relatively minor law. But because it is a major fallacy, it is a major problem. I too have failed to see the obvious from time to time, to wit: Some years ago I was indifferent to the ban on assault style gu...

Getting a P-64 Next Week

Like Geraldo said, "We don't report on houses that are not on fire." If you take that to heart, then you will realize that very few people are going to start a thread titled - "So Far, So Good" ;D And I have not doubt that you can sell it quickly if you do not get along with it. ...

P-64 as a carry weapon.

I carry my P64 about 50% of the time, and my Tauraus pt45 the other 50%. I carry in my front right pocket, both of them. I made a leather pocket holster for my p64 that I use about half the time that I am carrying the p64. I carry my pt45 loose in my pocket all the time that I carry it. It usually d...

Holser options

Hand Home Made is still the best. No real skill or expense involved, just a bit of time, and then you have a holster custom fit to your CZAK and to your own needs. Give it a try!

Beavertail?

I favor the CZAK as a close range self defense pistol. Light, small profile, easy to carry in my pants pocket, and packs a reasonable punch. For me, this is definitely not a range gun, it does bite my hand, and my hand is large enough that trying to keep it out of the way of the slide is very diffic...

P-64 Pocket Holster

Update: In order to improve this pocket holster I trimmed it down, with a sharp knife, to the inside line of brads. This got rid of the stiff edge caused by the epoxy glue I had used, and made the overall profile smaller. That stiff edge from the epoxy did not soften with wear as I had hoped, and wa...

Any familiar with Thunderwear?

I guess it is a personal thing. I pocket carry in all kinds of dress pants, jeans, shorts or whatever and don't even notice it anymore. On the other hand I can barely stand to have a wristwatch on - they drive me crazy. Everyone has their own pet peeves, don't we?

You owe it to your descendants to have this in your collection to pass down. It is a family heirloom! Don't hesitate, buy it and take the consequences which will be over with in no more than 24 hours, and then years and years and years of pleasure for you, plus the same for your children and grandch...

Handguns in a Stress Situation

I have been in dire situations where that slow motion thing kicked in, and I have been in dire situations where it did not kick in. It is not reliable, and probably in most cases it is not even real, but a false perception after the fact. Counting on it would be a serious mistake. It is akin to expe...
