I just signed up.....if everyone will get on this, it'll get knocked down.
Takes LOTS of email to do this. But it can be done. I'm contacting all of my friends, in-laws, etc. to speak up.

Well....took my new P64 to the target range today for the first time. Guess I didn't pay much attention to the discussion here about shooting smaller grain bullet, lower power rounds. I have a nickname for my piece now, "The Punisher"... I put 3 mags of TCW 109gr ammo through it, and it be...

Removing firing pin/spring
Had to laugh at one post claiming it took "4 hands" to do this.....guess I'm getting good at this kind of thing, I only had to us 3 hands... I used a large paper clip, straightened out to hold the FP in while sliding in the safety, then used the clip to press in the detent and finish seati...

Removing firing pin/spring
Got the FP, spring, detent and spring out, cleaned up and back in. As you said, it'll shoot right out on you if you're not careful!
Pretty clean weapon.....got it from SOG, appears to be like new. Can't wait to try it on the range this weekend.....

Removing firing pin/spring
How about parts for the P64? Firing pins, etc? Or is the P64 firing pin made from better material than my other milsurp pistols...CZ52, Mak, etc.?
I see that I may want to replace some springs....boy the DA trigger pull on this thing is tough!
Thanks again for your help.

Anyway, what I need to know is how to remove the firing pin and spring. I like to tear everything down, clean and reassemble before I shoot it....just fo...
