Re: new guy from reno!
On buying ammo, it also depends on where you live. You may have to go through a dealer. That said, I've bought ammo quite a bit online. Sometimes you can get it cheaper on Gunbroker.com too.

I agree it's not a range gun. I do like to practice enough to be proficient, though.

LOL. Didn't Tom Petty sing, "The waiting is the hardest part?" I'm waiting on another one myself.

Re: First Impressions
Congrats on the P64. I love mine. I too have trouble with the small sights. I like carrying the P64 & have gotten used to the trigger. I have a CZ82 as well. I liked the CZ82 so much, I bought each of my kids a CZ83.

Welcome from SW FL. Enjoy your P64's. I have two & love them. They are my daily carry guns. Have you shot yours yet? Some say they bite a little, but not too bad.

Re: Orderd my P-64 today
Welcome from SW Fl. You're probably going to love the P64, if you can get past the HEAVY double action pull. Not all are bad though. I purchased 2 a few years back. I gave the better one to my brother for his back up/ off duty weapon. (He lost everything in a divorce). Anyway the one I kept I can sh...

Re: Fantastic $14 IWB holster
Update- I've had this holster for a year of almost daily carry & it still works fine. The only problem- don't leave the gun in the holster when you pull your pants down, as in the bathroom. The gun usually falls out. http://www.ebay.com/itm/SUEDE-TUCKABLE-CONCEALMENT-GUN-HOLSTER-FITS-STD-380-AUT...

Re: Hornady critical defense!?
I've used Critical Defense in my P64 & CZ82 w/o problems. I have never done any testing, other than reliability.
