Pocket Carry Holster ?
gunnyrabbit, I don't often carry in my pocket but when I do I use this inexpensive "Uncle Mike's sidekick". It has enough grip so that it stays put if you draw the pistol out. It is about as thin as you could get.It has a suede feel to it. http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h181/redfestiva/...

That's interesting papabear. I may hold on to these two boxes for now and shoot the more common brands. Aim surplus is now only offering Wolf 95gr military classic (sand cammo box) for $8.95 bx in 9x18 mak
By the way that's a great lookin mak in your photo!

9 x18 Mesko
I received 100 rounds of Mesko "Vollmantel" 93-gr FMJ as part of a 9x18 ammo buy. I looked on the Makarov forum and on NorthBenders ammo data thread it says it is Polish ammo. This is the first time I've ever seen it. Is it available on the internet anywhere? It is packaged in amber colore...

Never say never....new 1911 (range report)
Space, that is a nice pistol. Was that a fluke deal or was that the going price for them? Rock Island Armory 45's are $419 around here.

Merry Christmas everyone. Have a safe and wonderful holiday. Norm, I bet those dogs would have loved some of our snow! I think dogs and kids are the only ones that do. Oh yea and those guys with the blades on their trucks, I know they like it! $$$

Prvi Partizan 9x18?
I see that AIM Surplus has the Prvi Partizan 9x18 for $10.95. I'm afraid AIM has me spoiled. I live within driving distance to AIM and I've been getting Silver Bear from them for $6.95 -$7.50 box for the longest time. I can still get it for $10/box around the corner . I know Silver Bear is not brass...

Secondly, just how close of a fit is the Walther PPK or the SIG 230 in a molded holster? the Walther PPK is a very good fit, the sig 230/232 is as close to a perfect fit as I've seen. This holster was designed for a Sig 230, as you can see , the P-64 is a good fit. http://i64.photobucket.com/albums...

Me four. But I find that cocking the itti-bitty hammer is not that easy, specially in a crisis situation. Correct, it's not that easy to pull that hammer back and for me that's a good thing because it reassures me that there's no way it's accidently getting cocked. It's not coming back unless I PUL...

I carry my P-64 with a round in the chamber , 6 in the magazine and the safety off. When I am ready to fire I simply cock the hammer back and I have 7 ready to go. No more dangerous than carrying a fully loaded revolver.
