OT - Other Pistols
Tunnelrat, try a tokarev in the same caliber... They're fun too... ;D ;D ;D -Mark Mark, I once took a Tokarev off an NVA officer who no longer needed it. I gave it as a reward to my first squad leader. I'd like to have it today, but I am content that it ended up in the hands of a very good guy.

PA-63???
I have had a lot of luck with all the little commie guns. My P-64 is a better gun than its lookalike Walther PPK. My Mak eats everything I feed it without so much as a hiccup. My CZ-52 lights up the night sky with its 7.62x25 ammo at 1400+ fps. In fact, the only commie gun I've had trouble with is t...

OT - Other Pistols
With regard to "Other Pistols", let me take a moment to sing the praises of my CZ-52. It is a full size, single action, service pistol that fires an 85 -- 95 grain, 7.62x25 cartridge at muzzle velocities significantly above 1400 fps. http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a286/tommcnaughton/fir...

Just ordered
Just ordered a set of Ivory grips. The grips will be here before I get my pet back from having the it's ramp polished. ;D I have elephant ivory on my Kimber CDP Pro Carry, and mastodon ivory on my Colt 1991. I have been very happy with each set -- they look nice and feel good, too. http://i13.photo...

Any familiar with Thunderwear?
Yes! It is now called "Smart Carry", google on that to find it. Not quite: Smartcarry and Thunderwear are two different outfits with similar products. The reports I've heard seem to indicate that the Smartcarry offers a little better wetness protection than does Thunderwear. Other than th...

Shoulder holster
Does anyone have a source suggestion for a shoulder rig that I can wear under my buttondown dress shirt and over my t-shirt? Even more of a challenge... I need a white one so the holster doesn't show through my white shirts. Try this one: http://www.gunblast.com/Kangaroo.htm . I am planning to orde...

How do you carry?
To me, and this is only my opinion, the perfect round is the .44 Special. This round packs a decent punch in close up shooting, and will HURT someone. But most of the .44 Special pistols are on the large side except the Charter Arms Bulldog pistol. I have a Rossi stainless steel, 5" barrel by ...

Does all Walther gear work?
Newbie here. I put a Universal SA Clip Draw on mine and its great. Anyone else using one? http://www.securityandsafetysupply.com/products-duty-gear/clip-5.html I have several of those that I can use when I am out of state. Unfortunately, the screwy laws in Ohio forbid me to use a Clip-Draw in an au...

Testing a new load
I tested some new ammunition today, using my P-64 as the test gun. The new rounds consisted of 95 grain Hornady JHPs over 4.0gr alliant bullseye. I am not a reloader, so I am taking my alchemist at his word on this part. I shot up several magazines of 100 grain Wolf ammo first, in order to have some...

Bartos, is there any way to get some of those training posters for sale? I would love to add it to my collection of training posters. In Polish would be best too, I am not wanting it translated. I can't read it but I want it "original." ;) Hmmm, I cannot help but wonder: do you prefer you...

Wait a minute--the "slippery slope" has nothing to do with gun control??? Would you care to ask the Australians about that? Or the Scots, or the Brits? Gun Control doesn't affect criminals -- they don't obey the law anyhow. Whether or not there are laws against it, felons will always find...

What does your P-64 do?
Hey Tunnelrat--glad to find someone else who does the "just stick it inside the waistband" thing! I'm not usually a fan of Mexican Carry. Most handguns don't do well without a holster, but the P-64 seems made for it. I'm surprised they don't make them in Mexico... I have an admission to m...
