Re: CTD $9.99 Holster
Foo Bird, If you have a shoe repair shop handy you might be able to stitch just above the the black edge seal to tighten it up a bit. I did that with an 'Uncle Mike' nylon field holster for my .44SPL 3'' Bulldog. It was open at the bottom, the pistol was loose. I sewed it by hand using a large curve...

If you have JHP feed problems, try polishing the feed ramp. But, like someone here said: "As long as it punches a hole in you, use it". I polished my ramp, it's ok' But also have a lot of Silver Bear FMJ, just in case.

Re: 5.45x39 cartridge?

The price seems good, depending on who assembles the rifle. Ammo is still pretty cheep, and just found a site that offers 5.45x39 softpoin...

Re: Whats your favorite load for the 44 sp.?
Gunny, The most accurate I've tried is Winchester 200gr. 'Silver tips', next is the Blazer. The worst I've tried is the PMC 240 gr. flat nose, it's so slow you could almost duck it. The silver tips recoil is also not as great with the 200gr. They also have the cowboy loads too. If you could duplicat...
