Ammunition
Guys just an FYI...especially the newer one amoung us. www.ammoengine.com is a great way to see who's got what. They search the web for you and rank order for price per round and with a click takes you right to the appropriate page / website. Its not exhaustive but a great place to start. FWIW. Tman...

Tok22, No desire to highjack the thread...but....In your opinion which country made the best Toks? It looks like you might have 2 different variants. What do you think...Russian, Romanian, Polish, Chinese (Norinco) ? I know the Czechs have their own design in the CZ-52. I see a smattering of Polish ...

CZ 82 grips
Charlie, You may want to check out Designer Grips at http://www.designergrips.com/index.htm. They have a mold for the CZ 82 and have made a few nice examples. [The carbon fiber style is my favorite ! The camo looks nice as well. ] You can contact the head guy at paul@designergrips.com. Let us know i...

Ammo VS Recoil Spring Q
popeels09, I have had good experience, functioning, etc. with a 22# (R), 18# (H) combination. The 22# wasn't difficult to put in. There is more effort to rack the slide though... Rottenrick, Quick question... When you say using graphite, I assume you mean graphite lock lubricant. Where are you apply...

DA trigger pull on CZ70
electross, Thanks for the input. The fact that the hammer spring strut holds it in place helps but, unfortuantley, I'm really not sure about placement. Do the U-shaped ends of the spring (the big and small) face toward the frame or toward the spring strut? Also, does the large end go up (closest to ...

electross, Tried the mods you suggested today. Got the gun apart OK and got most everything done but after taking the hammer spring / strut out a spring / clip (flat with a large and smaller bent ends) popped out. Unfortunately, I didn't phograph the gun immediatelty after taking the grips off. At t...

Mark and the rest,
Finished the the spring swap (15# recoil and 9# hammer) on the PA-63. You're all right on the money. What a difference...! "Like budder"... as they say in New Yuck. Smooth but crisp! You guys are the best. Thanks !

Spring swap only 90% effective...
Hey guys, Just got done swapping out springs (22# recoil and 18# hammer) on a recent J&G P64. Change-out went smoothly (thanks to Norm and all those who've posted tips, etc.) No muss no fuss. The DA trigger pull has improved some, but it remains "gritty" By that I mean, the pull is smo...
