Exactly my point so what is the difference between carrying a snubbie without a mechanical safety and a pistol that has a heavy DA trigger pull without a safety? Just sayin............

I carry with one in the chamber and safety off. With a trigger pull in excess of 10lbs even with the 17lb spring option I believe that this is the same as carrying a DA revolver, a type of sidearm carried for over a hundred years with a very small DA occurance. I did not change out my firing pin spring the first time I changed springs and saw no change, but after thinking about how old that spring may be (40+ years) I changed it out for the increased power one so now the springs are new and I have had no problems. And an Uncle Mike's #1 IWB holster fits the P64 perfect and is cheap. It is what I use.

Start looking for the mag now cause you may be done with all the other before you find one. And is yours a pre 73 or post 73?

Just trust us, get the Polish Irom grip. We all got the spring packs and a large number of us bought the grip too.
