Re: P-64 advice!! Please help!

What I did was SLIGHTLY round the safety detent. Before that, I could not take it off safety, but was able to put it on. Here's where I read about it.

Re: The New P-64 Mag Release.

From your video, it looks like it works well. Like you said, you'd have to include a left grip. I don't know if I would use it or not. It is a neat idea. Good luck & keep us posted.

Re: Refurbishing and Refinishing a P64

I can't speak about which would be a better finish as I don't know. My question is, are you sure it needs refinishing? I have 2 P64's, one had a excellent finish, the other just ok. As far as replacing parts, I'd replace the hammer spring with a Wolff 18lb & the other springs. As far as I know, ...

Re: 22 Rifles

I have several 22 rifles. I think everyone should have at least one. My first gun was a Ruger 10/22 purchased in 1977, I believe. I still have it. I also have a Marlin 60 & a Remmington Fieldmaster pump. I have a few single shots too.

Re: .32 S&W long H&R model 733

The old H&R guns were good guns. I have a couple myself. By old I mean the original not the current company, but they also make decent guns. Even the ones with swing out cylinders aren't rated for a lot of pressure. H&R did manage to develop the 32 H&R magnum using the same frame as your...

Re: 6+1 will magazine feed OK?

I use 6+1 in mine & have never had a problem. "Also considering appendix carry - is this different from an inside the waist band carry?" Appendix carry is a form of inside the waistband carry. I use it with some guns, but have never tried it with a P64. I am rt handed, but due to a bad...

Re: Wheel gun guys - need advice

+1 what wlockridge said. My uncle gave me a S&W to "fix" for him. I took it apart & it was all gummed up with oil after 20+ years. He told me he kept it well oiled. After cleaning it worked fine. I have several S&W revolvers & love all of them.
