Re: Just ordered new grips

As his web site describes he has quite a backlog of work. (if you go into his order tracking you can get a feel) I am glad to see someone so successful just wish it was a US company....... seems like an opportunity here somewhere. Anyone have a CNC machine that will do wood work ? I am a CNC Swiss ...

Re: AMMO

http://www.cheaperthandirt.com has a bunch of 9x18 ammo at pretty good prices. You can also order some from Buffalo Bore, but I'd be reluctant to try anything heavier than a 95 grain bullet (I would not use their 115 grain 9x18 ammo in my P64). I've thought about their 95 grain ammo, but don't know...

Re: How to carry...

I carry mine in a IWB holster with one in the tube, safety on. I carry the spare magazine on the left side in a leather magazine carrier. I use the Silver Bear 94 grain JHP's.

Re: A JAMMED P-64

Have any of you guys used the 20 lb. recoil springs I have seen advertised? Just curious why they would make a 20 when the factory one is an 18 lb. one?

normsutton, that Martini Henry looked great after you were done. I have done similar things with my M91/30's, but the stocks were not as rough as the Henry you did. Good job.

Re: Just ordered new grips

Man, those grips I saw on his website look great, but the wait times kinda make me nervous. Why so long?

Re: Buldged Cases

I have had this issue with S&B ammo in other guns and other calibers before. I don't know for sure, but I feel as though S&B uses some really thin case walls on some of their ammo. I have noticed that with 7.62x54r cases as well.

Re: **Handmade IWB Holsters**

Wow. You can really craft the leather! I'll be ordering one of these soon, seeing as though no one seems to make anything for this pistol, other than something for a PPK that does not fit the P-64 correctly. I know because I have PPK/S holsters and the P-64 does fit...kinda, but not so great. Thanks...

Hello, my name is Mike. I decided to join this group because I have just bought a new(used) P-64 that was made in 1973. I ordered 500 rounds of 9x18 ball and 100 rounds of 9x18 JHP, some Brown Bear and some Silver Bear. I am looking forward to shooting this gun, as I have not much experience with th...
