Re: Bringing-out the Luster

I usually just use bronze wool and Mobile 1. Put a generous amount of Mobile 1 on the part you want to clean up and very lightly buff with the bronze wool. Any oil will work, though. Just put very light pressure on the bronze wool as you buff. It will remove oxidation, rust and grime and not affect ...

Re: WELCOME THREAD AND MEM, INFO

I have not shot the Daewoo DP-51, but I have read about it. I don't have a large circle of gun friends here (Illinois, ugh) like I have had other places I have lived, so don't get to shoot a broad range of weapons as in the past. Never been a 9mm fan, though, and actually never owned one, though it ...

Re: WELCOME THREAD AND MEM, INFO

Thank you, Sir. I have small hands and the P64 sits in my hand very comfortably and shoots to my natural point of aim with no adjustments. Though I really like my CZ82s and, on paper, they are a better pistol than the P64, I always have to make some mental adjustment when shooting them that I don't ...

FOUND IT! Re: How many P64s were made?

The production of the P-64 ended in 1977 with 190,000 pistols being produced.

Looks like it may be the keeper for the loaded chamber indicator (youtube video).

Number 9, number 9, number 9, ....

Can anyone tell my what part #9 is in the image below? Just got a new P64 and the magazine would not seat with 6 rounds in it, and I found this part in the magazine.... http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u93/kwqdkwqd/Polish%20P64/p64diagram_zps9qnbv4bq.jpg Many thanks to the Beatles for anticipating...

Re: Classic Has $199 P64s

Classic P64 came today. Two day delivery via Post Office. Pistol is a 1968, but looks unissued. Matching numbers including magazine that was in the pistol. Came with extra (non-matching) magazine and cleaning rod. Maybe the squeaky wheel got the grease. My Yugo review has never been added to Classic...

Re: Classic Has $199 P64s

Probably just depends on who picks your order at Classic. Wideners has always gone the extra mile for me. They picked through all of the Yugo 24/47s they had in stock for me to find one with all matching numbers. They even pulled one that was all matching except for the stock because the stock was e...

Re: Classic Has $199 P64s

I just paid Classic's $20 hand select fee for a Yugo SKS and got a beater. They still have not posted my 3 star review, which I left about 9 days ago. A few months ago, I bought a P64 from AIM and Classic at the same time and got a pristine P64 from AIM and one with a horribly ground slide where the...

How many P64s were made?

These just seem to keep coming. I did fruitlessly search this site to see if I could find the answer and even checked the P64 Wikipedia page....

Thanks!
