I refuse to join AARP--they support gun control.

Beretta CX4 Carbine "Bullpup"
I have always been a fan of pistol caliber carbines for self defence. They give you great accuracy at 50yards, and even 100yards, plus a little more intimidation factor than a handgun, without going to full power long arm cartridges, which would be impratical in my suburban setting. For about five y...

I would support one new gun law...one that would prevent any alien, legal or otherwise, from buying a firearm. If they are caught in possesion, boot them out. There is no reason they should enjoy full constitutuonal rights till they become citizens. This nut case has lived here over ten years, and s...

who knows who is lurking on the board?
I don't have a problem with the ATF stopping illegal gun shipments. It is nothing for me to worry about, as I follow the law. If I sell a firearm on-line (i have), it goes through an FFL. If it keeps some moron from supplying a weapon to aryan nation or ms13 thugs, god bless them. We all have our pr...

Penetration IS important. You may have to go through the arm that is holding a weapon at you. I like a round that is able to go in one shoulder and out the other, taking out the lungs, or in the front and into the spine. Or, through the interior wall that the bad guy is taking cover behind. I use JH...

I have no problem relying on FMJ in this caliber, and I am philisophicaly opposed to expensive wonder bullets sold in small quantities. If they make you happy, have at it.

I guess I am the only P64 board member that keeps a P64 in the car? Since I sometimes carry it at work, I keep it locked in the glovebox.

Does ya slide stick in decock?
My Dad was a WWII vet, and grew to like Spam in the war. He loved to make fried Spam sandwiches, and scrambled eggs with fried Spam. Somehow, I never learned to like it...

Does ya slide stick in decock?
I would think it would be hard to write like that--I know it is hard to read it. Anyway, it is never a good idea to ride the slide when loading, decocker or not. I usually load with the decocker applied. The hammer seems to ride the slide closed, not like snapping it when cocked and letting the hamm...

Motorcycle enthusiasts?
Ohio has now passed a revision to our CCW law which allows concealment in vehicles, with motorcycles mentioned specifically.
URALs are cool--I was just looking at them at the Cycle World motorcycle show. About 10 grand for the sidecar version with two-wheel drive.

Stupid question
Before I joined my shooting club, which has an FFL available to members at no charge, I searched around and found a kitchen table FFL who would order anything for me for $15-20. You can definately do it cheaper than walking into a gun shop. As for the CZ82, I paid $285 for my used condition example ...

Stupid question
I just made my first gunbroker purchase--a Ruger new Model Blackhawk 45LC for $250 +$15 shipping. My shooting club has a members only FFL, no fee, so I am happy.
I'll probably check it out again.

That is only on non-FFL items. I did order my spare P64 mags from them, no problem. But they don't allow walk-ins to my knowledge. AIM does.

I believe the "x18 mak" marking was applied by importers. My '74 P64 only says "9mm" on it.
