Re: .410 Shotgun Reloading?
I also have seen the Judge ammo advertised but have no experience with it. I have however shot regular 410 through a thompson contender and that is pretty much worthless. People seem to forget that the shotgun rounds and rifles for that matter are designed to burn in longer barrels and loose alot of...

Re: .410 Shotgun Reloading?
I use my 410's for everything except waterfowl. It has been sad to see the decline in the use of 410 in the field. Too many new hunters want the newest baddest 12ga using 3 1/2 shells to shoot dove and quail. Last year on opening day I took my limit (10) doves in just 8 minutes with my 410 O/U. The ...

Re: .410 Shotgun Reloading?
I still reload a little 12 and 20 but only higher end rounds. The 410 is much better economically to do and makes shooting 410 much more enjoyable. Since I have been reloading shotgun rounds for more than 25 years I have managed to collect some nice reloaders. The mec progressives make fast quality ...

Re: CZ82 new look
I sand blasted the original finish (what was left anyway) and then used epoxy engine paints. They have worked out very well on other projects, just takes longer to completely cure.

CZ82 new look
I finally got tired of the worn finish look on one of my CZ82's. This is the result of my efforts to change that. I was torn between the silver/black and the od green/black.

Re: Picked up a new toy today
A couple of Pt111 pros, a pt138 and a pt140 in the millenium pro line. I am looking to add the pt145 and the pt132 when I find one at the right price. I have enjoyed my pt pros and have had no issues with them. Looking forward to a range report.

Re: Found More P-64s
WOW the two I got from J&G were in what appeared to be unfired condition. I only got one mag with each gun but that was a couple of years ago. Wonder if they are down to the bottom of the barrel now.

Re: Saiga-12... My other passion (moneypit)
Yeah I have been watching and waiting for some good news from them and a couple of others that have been making noise about making mags. Very cool shotguns and easy to modify.

Re: Saiga-12... My other passion (moneypit)
I started with the Saiga 410 a bunch of years ago and moved up to the 12 then down to the 20 gauge. I have only modified the 12 with a polychoke for duck hunting. My 20 has been changed a bunch including folding stock, pistol grip, trigger group, trigger guard, rifle sights front and rear, polychoke...

Re: How a P-64 compares to a PPK
I really like my P64 and PPK/S but when just running errands I am not so concerned about the finish wear that is put on my P64 as I am with my Walther. Both are blued and both are great little pistols.

joined the P83 crowd
I added a P83 to my two P64's. Great piece, glad I was finally able to make it up to JG and pick one up. Kind of has that Mauser HSC look and feel to it, noticeably heavier than the P64's and just a bit larger. Photo of my two P64's and my P83 http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v721/6x6pinz/firearms/...

new to me Hakim rifle
Took the Hakim to an indoor range today. I don't recommend this unless you just want to upset a bunch of people. One of my friends bought one and is waiting for it to come in so he wanted to shoot mine. The temps here right now are just to unbearable to be outside shooting. The targets on either sid...
