Safety Has 3 Positions - ???

Bob,

When cleaning up the safety you might want to use some crocus cloth after deburring. Be careful with the entire process, as there are no parts available for the P-64.

Safety Has 3 Positions - ???

:) Welcome! You will need to remove and deburr the safety. Most likely there is a problem with the surface, or the safety plunger. The safety plunger can become flattened, burred, or damaged in a number of ways. Watch the spring as it can get away from you. This would also be a good time to order Wo...

9mm barrel for CZ52

Skylane, Your best bet would probably be Gunbroker. I have not seen them advertised in some time. Maybe Norm will see this. He comes up with some dealers that you don't normally see. BTW, be aware that people have reported problems with this modification in the past such as feeding issues, etc. I ha...

Colt Model 1911 “WW1 Commemorative” .45 ACP

:P WOW Steve! That is very cool! I wonder more about the history of the your particular gun as opposed to the history of The War To End All Wars. What would posses someone to bugger up a piece like that and have it eventually wind up in a pawn shop is beyond me. I first thought that it would be cool...

Red safety dot

:)

Hangfire,

I use Testor's Bright Red Model Paint. It is an enamel and holds up well during normal cleaning. I apply a dab with a Q-Tip that I cut the end off of. It makes a great applicator and the dot fills in very well.

:) conscript47, I have an extra set of Zee grips in white (off-white) if you would be interested. PM me and we can talk should you want them. They are new, from Zee, but I have so many sets right now that I would be willing to part with them for the project. We like photos too! I don't check in here...

Sleek for sure! Thanks Rick.

Norm is correct. Clean it, then clean it again. I have seen the best and the worst of what a P-64 can look like. Mine are mint, but I have seen ones at gun shows that I wish I could buy parts off of!

My 1968 and 1975 are two of my favorite guns.
