Safety sticky

Have you torn down your P64 and done a full cleaning? When I first got mine everything was kinda notchy feeling. Once I broke it all down gave it a extra good cleaning, felt like a whole different gun. Other than that look for the ware spots on the internals and feel them for any roughness in the me...

Holster Fabrication

The biggest downfall for me is that I only have the P64 out of the guns you mentioned so I would have no way to check the fit of the others. I could make it as close to the pic as I could just don't wanna give you false hope on fitment. Then would you want the mag pouch in the strap too? ALso straps...

"Ultimate" P-64?

I consider My p-64 cause its small compact and its still a 9mm. When I show it to anyone there like that can't be a 9mm its way to small. Easy to use plenty reg 9mm brass laying around for converting. Its Eastern Bloc means it almost lifetime guarantied to work every time you pull the trigger. I wou...

My god man don't use you fingers on the lyman trimmer. Put the end of the handle in the palm of your hand don't need the pressure but it sure saves your fingers.

Been working again. Got me another holster pretty much finished. Still some more work to get done. But just about there. Once again here are some pics. This is for my Single Six 6.5" barrel http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s188/ipsd1/Hobby%20Stuff/Guns/Holsters/Frontside2.jpg http://i152.phot...

Range Report: P64

I like those XTP rounds too. Run though the gun smooth and pretty good accuracy. I hit a 12oz can twice at 30yards with 6rnds of those XTP with 4 grains of W231 in trimmed down Luger brass. That was just point shooting. It feeds good to not a jam in 100 rnds of XTP's and I haven't even polished the ...

So does anyone manufacture a JHP in 95gr? I do but I don't sell them! Hornady makes some of those XTP both full ammo, and bullets. The bullets I bought were XTP but I recently seen some adds and they now have another X lettered hollow point with a plastic looking sorta Nosler style insert in the ce...

You are already having problems finding ammo lot of ammo choices right? Maybe that is for a reason. They only offer load data for the 95 & 100gn bullets. I would have to say you need to look into some Hornady XTP rounds still get nice groups at 50yards and they are a very open JHP. Feed just fin...

So what are you doing in the last pic! Did you just stain it or something? I recently picked up some more tools and gear for making holsters. Hop to have more pics of stuff soon.

magazine base repair/replace?

For those of us that like the Pinkie grip you could fill it with bondo or epoxy. Hell if its that bad head to the hobby store and pick up some mold making stuff and make a mold of a good one then glue the new one onto the old metal floor plate.

I'll have to back norm up that lyman unit is the way to go. I don't have the drill powered head but I do have that model in hand crank version. Works great even nice and simple to trim them by hand.
