problem with NICS

Here in good ole Missouri they do your back ground check and once you clear your out the door with your new/used Handgun in hand. Glad I live in this state and not some of the others. You would think the whole country is the same but it isn't. Each state can tweak there laws just like they do out in...

My new P64

I didn't dig up those pieces yet and don't really want to pull a live round to cut one. If it is steel core kinda would like to preserve it. I only fired it before I cut the first ones apart and found the hard steel in there. Yeah I stocked up cause it was cheap and easy. I now reload my own and use...

Stuckman all I see is 2 pieces of steel jacket and 3 pieces of lead NORM The jacket portion is copper and is not in the pic. the lead is on the left and that chunk on the right is the steel or hardened metal. If you look at the pics of steel core over a makarov.com here is a link to the pic they sh...

ipsd there is no such thing as steel core 9 x 18 ammo all Russian and Chineas ammo uses a steel case and a steel jacket lead core , no steel core NORM That is all to funny you say that. I read over at makarov.com that they made it. So I cut the Bullet apart on some recovered ones I shot. The were c...

I fired 100rnds of wolf steel case in my P64 and not a problem. Not saying that the WOLF is the greatest just that it worked for me. What else was I to do was waiting on reloading press and the wolf was all I could get my hand on besides some Steel core I found. Bought the steel core just hanging on...

9x19 to 9x18

You need the 9x18 dies. The makarov has a dia of .363-.365 so I don't think that would fit in your lugger die. That is why they make a special die set. Now it you had the means you might just turn a lugger set into the Makarov, but with many brands making dies for Makarov you can pick them up for as...

decent gun grease

I've been using Lucas brand gun oil they make all sorts of auto oil products. So we carry there gun oil at the parts store I work at. Cheap and easy to find. Works good too. Made to hold on the surface without turning gummy or tacky. 1st time I seen it was last summer.
