22 LR Plinker Handgun

I may get that conversion. I like the Ceiner one for my Beretta. I like the .380 and it is easy to get ammo for. If I had it to do over with, I would get the 9mm Mak of course. I've thought about converting, but I understand it's a big deal to put in the 9mm Mak barrell and needs a press or somethin...

Sources for P64 grips (NOT wood)?

I wonder if there is some sort of hard rubber compound that he could use instead of the resin? Of course, that question would be academic unless he wanted to start doing these again. He also did these grips in resin for the CZ-52. I clearly should have gotten some grips from him, when we had the cha...

Sources for P64 grips (NOT wood)?

I wish someone made hard rubber grips for these. Alas, those of us who like those rubber grips, which would be very good for the P-64, are relegated to the Hogue slip-on (and be prepared to have to modify it) for the time being. Parts are coming, however. Wolff spring makes some good springs and the...

22 LR Plinker Handgun

Does anyone know if that sportsman's guide Makarov conversion works for .380 as well as 9mm Mak. I'm embarrassed to say it, but my Russian Makarov is in .380 (please forgive me, I was young and foolish when I bought it). By the way, is it as easy to switch out the conversion on the Makarov as it is ...

What is your favorite revolver?

Gentlemen: Sorry this took so long. I had photobucket-phobia, but with help, I am getting better. The top is my Dan Wesson .357 8 inch vent-heavy barrel. Very accurate. The bottom is my RG 14 .22lr. I had erroneously said that it was an model 23, and I used to have an RG 23 but my inlaws stole it fr...

CZ-82?

My first try with photobucket. I hope this works! I was able to shoot the CZ-82 today and it worked great. Accurate, easy to control and fed flawlessly. Thanks to everyone for the advice. It put me over the edge to buy it and I'm glad I did. http://i186.photobucket.com/albums/x316/devlinfaust/picCZ-...

If the 22 conversion would work for your Beretta, you might be in business. I got one for my Beretta 92FS and so did a buddy for his Centurion. They have worked pretty well. There is an occasional issue with the buffer, on his pistol. Don't know why that would be, on his, but n ot on mine, but there...

CZ-82?

Wow! I took delivery of the CZ-82 yesterday. I can see little, if any, sign of previous usee. Aims sent me a virtually NEW pistol, as best I can tell. It sure is odd to look down the barrell and see no grooves. This is great, as my P-64's looked to me to be never previously issued when I got them, a...

What is your favorite revolver?

carguy, I'm going to try to fool with photobucket this weekend and if I can get proficient, I'll show you the Dan Wesson and the RG 23 together. Quite a bit of 'size' difference. I've never heard of the RG Omega, as far as I've ever heard, they all had model numbers. The parts were made in Germany a...

CZ-82?

The mags for the CZ-83 will interchange with the CZ-82? That surprises me--but I'm glad to hear it.

When I get the weapon, I will do my best to send pics. However, I've never used photobucket before. Of course, there's a first time for everything.

Not only the knowledge, but this is just a plain good bunch of people. The only site I post too. Good people and a great, but unusual firearm. How can you beat that?

Walther P-38

I have heard that both the Walther P-5 and the Beretta 92 series is based off the Walther P-38 design. So, apparently the Walther P-38 is still alive and well in 'modern' technology.

CZ-82?

Trent, The moral of the story is summer and conceal carry (other than the Kel-Tech .32 or 3AT) don't mix. Seriously, a pretty good story. The older I get the more I have to double and triple check to make sure things are where I think I left them, that I'm dressed the way I think I am--all those thi...
