P-64 Misconceptions

1. DA Trigger pull - It is just heavy. There may be a slight difference between the different years I have, but all in all the DA pull is hard. I don't see this as a negative for this pistol, because it is the perfect carry weapon, I feel safe having a round chambered. I just use it like a SA. I ag...

some P-64 history

Thanks herrmannek for help. It is great idea to compared words "czak" and chuck. Now guys You know how to say it.
So CZAK is pronounced "chuck", not "See Zack"?

Thank you. It is such a help to have someone who can read the manuals and knows the history.

Rat, put a sock in it! Sock inserted per your request... If you bothered to read previous posts for this thread, you would realize that this is a friendly accuracy competition started by a Polish Army Officer. The people on this board know all about defensive shooting. I did indeed read with intere...

New carry holster

Since I bought my P64 to carry, I needed a new holster.Living in south FL, carry is a problem in the summer time. I have used a IWB holster before so thats what I looked for. Found this in a local gun shop for $25.00. Its a Ross Leather IWB made for a Sig 230/232. Its the type with the adjustable J...

Grips & Magazines

I have a hogue grip on my HK USP but that's my "work gun" I think putting a rubber grip on this gun ruins it. makes it too "grabby" and spoils the "hide"factor by grabbing your pant leg, shirt tail, etc... I've been shooting John Moses Browning's Hi-Powers and M1911's ...

Magazines!

Okay, so where do I get some more magazines for this little thumb-buster? I got two with the gun. Then I bought two more on Ebay, but I had to pay $15 each! So, four mags give me only 25 shots (one in the chamber) before I have to reload the magazines. At this rate it's gonna take me all day to shoot.

Self defence isn't justified at 25 yards? maybe in your world.
No, categorically NO!
Self defence is not justified at 25 yards.

Not unless maybe your attacker is armed with a rifle and you have absolutely no other way to escape.

What world do you live in...?

What does your P-64 do?

You know, it's funny, but I've caught myself changing my carry weapon recently. I like Hi-Powers and 5" 1911's. For a smaller carry gun I've got a 4" Kimber CDP on an officers size frame, or a Glock 27. I've even got what many (me included!) consider an excellent carry gun -- a Kahr P9. An...

Maks and P-64's

I recently got my first Makarov. I had never even seen one before. It is bigger than I expected from all the stories about it being a "pocket pistol". I can only assume that the Russians have very large pockets... ;) I got a Polish Radom, P-64, too. It looks a lot like a Walther PPK (but a...
