Re: Man, I see why everyone is changing out their grips!
I have a pachmayer slip-on with finger grooves and found the grooves too closely spaced on this short grip weapon. got a 26" bicycle innertube and cut a piece to fit. Not the fanciest grip out there but feels great and I can make about 10 for $4.22.

Re: AIM has 9x18 guns
My CZ82 grips are gouged up too. Was a slide across rocks drill common practice with the original issuees or what? I want to refinish to a point but want original parts/methods since I got it with my C&R license.

Re: playing card shoot off. anyone want to try?
No doubt!!! I don't want to come across a some afraid of the cold sissy though. We had frost here a couple months ago and everything. In February we had a big storm with horizontal rain and I was tarping the roof in high 40's temps :( Seriously though. I can be found shooting in 118 degree temps as ...

Re: Economical cameras
Hahaha, "a little more that $100" didn't sound so bad so I searched. I like your sense of humor dfunk. All I really need one for is pics of firearms, wood finishing projects and selling old motorcycle parts on ebay. I can appreciate a well shot photo but I'm afraid I need to aim a little l...

Re: playing card shoot off. anyone want to try?
20 degrees... I remember those days. Not sure I would want to shoot in that though. Ok who am I kidding. I'd shoot in anything. Hope you did not use any thick grease to lube the slide rails like I do here in AZ. Of course it might be cool to watch it move in slo-mo.

Re: Mosin Nagant Rifles
I agree papabear, I have traded a few of the rifles in the 1st pic for others. I now have 2 M38's, 2 34 Hex 91/30's (1 each from Tula and Izhevsk) and a 1925 ex dragoon. I do still have the cut down, scoped, bubba'd M44 above and another Tula 91/30 that is in the process of being scoped and is in a ...

Economical cameras
Anybody have any suggestions for an economical camera that will take decent close photos. I'd like to share pics of my firearms and projects but have to watch the budget. (Never know when that next CZ-52 might pop up.)

Re: WELCOME THREAD AND MEM, INFO
Hi all, I'm in the Scottsdale AZ area but grew up in Philadelphia PA. Bought my 1st gun late in 2007 and have been making up for lost time ever since. I have several Mosins, a couple SKS's, and several surplus handguns. I learned about this site a week and a half ago while looking up info on the CZ8...

Re: Too good not to share!
I just got a P 64 and a CZ 82 and can't wait to go shooting. I installed the Wolfe springs already on the P 64. It may be a couple weeks before I get to go but I'll do a range report.
