Re: American Arms CX22
I use to own one but sold it a couple of years ago. Fun little gun to shoot. If it's in good shape. I say snag it. It field strips just like the P64 and Makarov. If I remember correctly they are an 8 shot mag. If it is worn out I would pass because they are a zinc alloy pistol. Inspect it well and m...

Re: MarschalGrips needs help regarding Wanad P-83 grips
I'm guessing that P-38 is a typo and should be P-83? I would like a set for my P-83. What is the price?

Re: New Grips For My P64
Thanks for posting the pics and for your honesty. I was going to buy some but decided to wait and see how they turned out on the gun. It is hard to tell how they will look on the pistol. It would be nice if people that sell grips would display them on the specific pistol. so that you could be a more...

Re: Interesting Experience Today!
Glad you and your pistol are OK. Did you have to change your underwear? I probably would have. How did you get the squib out? Did it tap right out or was it difficult?

As long as it's 9x18mm Makarov and 95 gr or less. It should work fine.

I do most of my shooting over there. Either up above Smithfield or up Providence canyon. My son lives in Logan and he is the one I go with when shooting most of the time.MakAttack wrote:I'm just over the hill in Cache Valley.surfzombie wrote:I live in the Tremonton area. Where about do you live?

Re: another source for p-64 grips!
If you go to: http://www.p64resource.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1753 and scroll threw all the photos of the grips made by Dennis. They all extend down past the end of the frame. His grips look like they fit at the top rear better but some look like the have a similar fit in other areas. I lik...

Re: Sticky, Gritty Slide?
You shouldn't have to modify you gun to make it work properly What do you clean and lube your pistol with? Is you recoil spring installed correctly? What type of ammo are you shooting? May sound stupid but is it 9x18mm Makarov ammo? I tell you I have seen and herd many stories of people not paying a...

Re: Finaly got to shoot my P64 today.
smbob, Good report, I have no experience with cast bullets in any of my 9x18's as I still have a ton of 9x18 factory ammo so I can't comment, but with factory ammo for me the CZ82 is very accurate, potent and a lot of fun to shoot. I'm pretty sure your RIA 1911's faired well also, I have for some t...

I lived out there for a couple years back in the late 70's early 80's. I loved the High desert Yucca Valley, Joshua Tree area. Pretty stinking hot though.

Re: P64 price???????????
If my choices where between a Ruger LCP, A Keltec PF9 or P-11 I would probably still buy the P-64 because I prefer an all metal built like a tank pistol to a plastic pistol. So at $200-250 the P-64 is the better bargin In my mind. Don't get me wrong. There is nothing wrong with the other mentioned p...

Re: Is Brown Bear 115gr HP safe to shoot in my P-64
Does anyone know the grain size of the Norinco 9x18mm Makarov round? My specimen comes in a green cardboard box with the red Norinco symbol and simply says 50 cartridges on it. Headstamp is 71 on top and 93 on the bottom. Probably imported just before the Norinco ban in the mid 90s. My concern is t...
