I do agree that what you wear makes a lot of difference. I am still trying to figure out what is the best without being too obvious: I am not ready to join the Hawaiian shirt club just yet.

I wear it on the 8 o'clock position. My main concern is not fit: short of it weighting my pants down (I really need a better belt), sometimes I do forget it is there. What concerns me is when I bend over: it just feels that it imprints.

Main reason is that I do not want to have to stockpile yet another caliber. I do not want to have lots of boxes of ammo but only a few per caliber. Focus. Yesterday I bought a imez single stack commercial MakarovFor a great price. Only problem it is a 38 cal one instead of 9x18. Where can I get a barrel for it? I used to see them by the on on gun broker and aimsurplus and other sites but now they seem to be gone. And yet I see tons of brand new 38cal ...

I think someone here said the finger rest in the P64 mag likes to imprint. If I bend over, that happens to me; could I be doing something wrong?

The proposed workaround was to trim/round the finger release off. Since I do not want to destroy original parts, is there another way?

Correct me if I am wrong but if you want to load a round in the chamber and then bring the hammer back up you rack the slide and then either 1) Bring the hammer back up manually and ever so slowly (which might be interesting depending on how far is the firing pin from the percussion cap at rest) 2) ...
