Wolff Springs
I was just at the Wolff Springs web site and saw that they now have recoil springs for sale for the P-64. :D Now here is my question, Why would you want to replace the 18lb. factory weight spring with a 20lb. or 22lb. spring. This is something I have never done before and I'm curious as to what the ...

Seven round military model P64
Actually I was referring to the "HISTORY" section of the "UNOFFICIAL P-64 RESOURCE " web page. I believe that Dick probably wrote it, in it he refers to the military version differing both in external dimension and magazine capacity, longer and having a magazine capacity of seven...

Safe Direction Ballistics Containment Bag.
Yes, It was the armored pistole bags that i was referring to. I can remember a time when my father had an accidental discharge into the ceiling of our house. He had to very sheepishly explain to my mother whey there was a hole in her bed room floor. Fortunately no one was hurt , thank GOD no one els...

Replacing the mainspring for lighter DA pull
Thanks guys thats good info., I'll stick to using Wolf ammo. at the range only. How about the other Russian and Chinese ammo. that I see periodically advertised at some of the gun links. I note that Braunel, Brown Bear, Silver Bear, Tiger and several other names that I cant remember at the moment se...

Took my pistole to the range today for the first time with a new 17lb. Wolff spring in place and I had no problems regarding the mag. but here is the rub, I shot 95gr. Fiocci and PMC ammunition without a hitch. Shot three box's of Wolf ammo with three failures to fire from one box with what looked l...

P-64 mags for $9.95
Hay Mattswabb,
Thanks for the review of the new mags, are they as rough as the ones that came with your pistole? I just posted a thread regarding the poor quality mags that came with my P-64 before I read your reply. Let us know what you think, inquiring minds want to know.................. G.R.

New Mags./ Regarding destrux's thread.
Hello all, I was just reading destrux's thread from Jan. 9th of this year regarding a company that is making replacement mags for the venerable P-64. Does any one know the name of the company and more importantly are they a better mag than the ones that came with the P-64? Man, I thought that the Fe...

Hay Steve, I was just at the AIM web site and noted that they are advertising S&B ammo for $3.50 per 24 round sleeve. That works out to $7.50 for 48 rounds and that is about the cheepest that I have seen in a long while. .........................G.R.

Got my springs from Wolff on Friday, ordered 16 lb. and 19 lb. springs, got 16 lb. and 17 lb. instead. I installed the 17 lb. spring this morning and what a difference it made in the double action trigger pull. I'm going to the range next Monday and I will do a range report when I return.

Just returned from Salem where I was able to pick up some Wolf military classic ammo from OMC. The place is hard to find, tucked half a block off of 19th. street behind other buildings. I asked about Sellier & Bellot ammo and the fellow behind the counter said they haven't been able to get any f...

I'm driving to Salem tomorrow and I plan on picking up some of the military loads that Out doors Marksman advertises on their web site while I'm in the area. I'll let you know what it's like after my next trip to the range. They rate it at 1030 fps., it's made by Wolf so I'm sure it was choreographe...
