Welcome to the board brother. If you already have dennis's grips I can tell you have been properly bitten by the P-64 bug.

Re: What is the Most Favored Wolff Recoil/Trigger Spring Com
I installed the 20lb recoil spring and 17lb hammer spring. I like the hammer spring weight very much, it made the DA pull useable. But others here have reported some problems with the mag falling out after the last round is fired using the 17lb hammer spring and it seems to be gun specific. I am hap...

Re: Need a new slide
I have not noticed much recoil reduction, although it does not seem to make the web of my hand as sore or red, so some benefit there. I did replace the trigger spring with a 17lb unit when i put in the 20lb recoil spring and replaced the firing pin spring with the "extra power" firing pin ...

Yes. I installed a 20lb recoil spring on mine and I like it very much. I also have a 22lb spring but have not installed it yet.

Re: any one know what kinda 8mm this is and specs on it???
Is it a handgun or rifle round? Can you post some pics, that would be very helpfull. Is the bullet solid lead or FMJ? From the headstamp description I would guess it is a military round.

Re: New P64 owner--pistol not going completely into battery
Nice pics, and I see what you were talking about. I would say to very GENTLY and CAREFULLY take a needle file and file that lip back and then see if it will go into battery. I will bet that it will cure most if not all of your problems. seems like there is another thread here that dealt with this. Y...

Re: New P64 owner--pistol not going completely into battery
Is your extractor damaged in any way? That might explain riding over the rim but not grabbing it. Have you checked the chamber at the bore end where the case headspaces for anything{dirt, cosmoline, brass shavings, etc.) that may be getting in the way of the casing going all the way into the chamber...

Re: sight modifications
badgerjfr, good eyes on the chamber indicator. However , that picture of the business end was the last in the stack and before I took that one the mag was dropped and chamber cleared. Glad you liked the sight though. and thanks for lookin out for a fellow's safety.
