Re: Any source for ammo?
I stopped doing business with CTD years ago when they started boning ya on shipping. Now I see the are gouging on the ammo, really a $1 a round. I hope folks are smart enough not to support that game. I'd rather throw rocks at people than use Dirtier than Cheap. For those prices, I'll buy Reeds cus...

Re: Ammo
Unless there's more to your question, any of the ComBloc 94-95gr ammo should be a very close approximation if not identical to the Polish ammo for shooting purposes. The actual ammunition it was used with initially was designed for their SMG at the time, the PM-63, and had a very hard primer. This ...

Re: Slide
After having installed the new 18 lb recoil slide spring without filing off the ends of the spring I had a duhhhh moment. BIG MISTAKE! Now I cannot remove the slide. I have eaten my Wheaties etc. and I sure do want to remove the slide and flatten the spring ends to prevent this again. At the moment...

Re: Small frame inaccurate shooters
The first generation Kel Tec P32 would sometimes get a cracked slide. It was pretty rare but did happen sometimes. Cracked slides on the P32 is very rare. The Gen 2 is a bit different and hasn't had any significant reports of cracking, regardless of the slide (KT slides are Blued, Parked, or HC). Pe...

Statistically speaking, a dog is more effective at preventing robberies and home invasions, but they're also a lot more expensive and a lot more work.

With enough work and mechanical skill, you could make a replacement.
You might be able to buy just the base somewhere and reshape it to your preference.

Re: New grip sleeve
The grip pads from there are nice. I've used them before. Another common DIY solution is to use a section of bicycle inner-tube. They're often less expensive NIB from the big-box store or you can sometimes find them for free as trash in your own garage or at the local bicycle shop. Next time I drive...

Re: Where do you get your ammo?
I just got a P64 a few weeks ago and I bought the last box of 9x18 ammo in town.... I went through all but 12 of the 50count box so I would have two full magazines to carry if I so wish. It's a real pain finding ammo for this little guy!! Is this in part due to the current firearm laws in legislati...

Re: wolf 109 FMJ
They are OK to shoot in your P64 but the heavier weight will increase recoil. I have some of the 109gr. Wolf. I don't think they actually make it any longer. My recollection is that production on the 109gr. loads stopped several years ago. Some firearms seem to have issues feeding the weird "tr...

Re: Hello, New member here...
I've seen post's about not using +P ammo with these (I got some PowRBall rounds for my CZ), but I'll look into this more before loading them into the 64. There is no official "+P" specification for 9x18 Makarov. Some manufacturers, notably Buffalo Bore, will label their offerings "+P...
