Not a single P-64 at Knoxville, TN gun show
Volfandan, The most recent "expo" gunshow didn't have any that I saw either. However, when I was at the most recent "gunshow in the smokies" near Chilhowee Park, they had a bunch. I believe you might be able to find some P-64's at Guns and More---5612 Kingston Pike (865 584-1100)...

Carguy, I haven't seen that suction cup one (cheaper) for a while. The 'glasses' one is where you have two lenses that clip onto your glasses, a lot like the 'flip up' sun glaasses lenses. Except with these, they are totally opaque on one side, and the other side is, as well, except for the apeture-...

Focusing on your sights
By the way, I did try that appiture (I think that's what it's called) that puts a 'ghost ring' around your vision, and it did help considerably. The problem is that it is a big hassle to use. It was OK for very relaxed target work where you have a lot of time to get your sight picture in and get the...

Newbie bought a P-64
doctormike, Welcome to the forum! When I bought my P-64's, the recoil was so bad, that I said if I couldn't defend myself with the first five shots, I'd had the pistol to my assailant and let him put me out of my misery! But, on this site, someone suggested holiding the pistol not quite so tight, an...

Brown Bear 380
My Makarov loves it. I don't know what the ratings are, but it seems to have a bit more power than some of the other .380 I've used.

drogers: This may or may not be good news for you. I have had the same problem, and very quickly it got to the point that it didn't matter whether or not I was in low light or bright light. Of course, I had glasses by then, with progressive lenses, but it didn't help my shooting. It was either I cou...

I've never had a problem with 9mm or 9mm Mak in Wolf. However, I once bought 500 rounds of Wolf in .40 and was very sorry that I did. That was some of the worst ammo I've ever used. About one out of every four or five cases would buldge to the point it wouldn't extract and I'd have to take the pisto...

Bad News about Ebay/weaponry
Basically, I like e-bay and have been well satisfied with most of the transactions I've made there. I'm sorry to see them take a step backwards.

Part 2: Concealed carry w/ one in tube?
volfandan, Funny you should mention that. I have to P-64's. One one of them I did the Wollf spring thing which lreduced the felt recoil some and ightened the trigger pull. This is on the 'carry' gun. My spring gauge only goes up to about 8 pounds, so I can't say for sure, but I would guess that it l...

Nice photos, Spyguy. I have a 286 and 386 that I have hated to get rid of, but are hopelessly obsolte. No one will even take them as charity. I think you've just given me some ideas.....

Concealed Carry with one in the tube?
I also have two Kel-Tec .32's. They don't have near the stopping power of the P-64, but I don't think that there is any other pistol that will give you the firepower of that much magazine capacity, in that small a package, that weighs so little, as the Kel-Tecs. A simple design, but nothing to mess ...

Papbear--nothing wrong with one had washing the other, or a favor for a favor. I may look into those 1938 shells. It's remarkable how well some things are made, almost 70 years old and still igniting. I hope I can ignite when I get to be 70. Thanks also, Himmel, for the update on the .32 mag. I may ...

I use that little clip that you can get for about twenty bucks (they used to advertise on the message board), and it goes in the small of my back. I carry it hot and safety off. One thign worth consideration relates to there being more than one issue regarding "safety" of carry. Aside from...

Himel, I've tried the .32 S & W, but I've never tried the .32 H & R magnums. Do those work well with the Nagant revolver? Do you have that problem of having to to scrub to get the led off the cylinder like the .32 S & W? Also, do you think that the power is more or less equal to the 7.62...
