That doesn't counter my point, in fact it reinforces it. QC means there shouldn't be -any- luck involved at all.MakAttack wrote:My KeepShooting.com mag works great. Must be the luck of the draw.

Re: FTF on first shot in full magazine
Have you tried loading five rounds instead of six? http://www.p64resource.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=6016#p55087 That was the first thing I tried, yup. Worked for a while, then it didn't. The thing is, if I load a full mag, then quickly chamber one and fire the rest, it doesn't hang up. But ...

Re: FTF on first shot in full magazine
I was wrong again. Got new springs in the mags, same issue as before. Only it's not just the first shot every time. Sometimes it's the third or fifth. But the results are just like what I showed you in the earlier photos.

Re: Is the trigger guard pin one piece or two?
Before I try to do something stupid, thought I'd better ask first: Since half the pin is still in the guard and basically holding the thing in place somehow, can I just pop the new pin in at the same time as popping the half of the old one out? Or are these things too fragile for that?

Re: Review (kinda) of KeepShooting P64 Mags
This seems to be par for the course from all the reviews and videos I've seen about KS clone mags. All of them, not just the P64 mags. Poor quality control, even worse customer service. They flood their store pages with fake 5-star reviews to offset the poor feedback and take forever to approve bad ...

Re: Review (kinda) of KeepShooting P64 Mags
Oh, just the generic 380 springs, okay. I keep losing track of the thread here that shows how to trim them down, I don't suppose you have that bookmarked too?

Re: Review (kinda) of KeepShooting P64 Mags
Wolff Springs doesn't make mag springs for the P64. I've asked them twice before, each time "We'll look into it." Also KS has hidden the P64 Mag page now. I can find it in search results, or if I enter the address exactly, but it's been removed from the store listings (Example, clicking on...

Review (kinda) of KeepShooting P64 Mags
Haven't shot with this mag yet, but I'll get back to you on that as soon as the replacement pins for pins that need replacing are in. Basically, the materials used in KeepShooting.com's version of the P-64 magazine feel really solid. The spring feels strong, as does the body. The problem (see photos...

Re: Still no love from Freedom
Maybe, but like, they're already stocking PPU-brand Tok ammo. Why not PPU-brand Mak as well? Maybe something to do with primary customer bases or something. They sell mostly to shooting teams, right?

Re: Is the trigger guard pin one piece or two?
Check out this thread that tells how to get the pin out. I would think it would be the same to install. http://www.p64resource.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=4702&start=15 Hmmm, looks like something I might not be able to do at home. I haven't got a vise, for one. (I'm as pure as the driven ...

Re: Is the trigger guard pin one piece or two?
I won a Gunbroker auction for a pin, just waiting on the guy to get back to me.
Question now is, how do I replace it? Just pop it through the hole?
