Re: Are the Wolff springs longer than OEM?
Hey manic, thanks for the tip. I did see a post about grinding both ends flat, when I googled it. I did grind it, and its working now. That leaves the main problem. Why is there a hung up on the hammer? I wonder if the sears/hammer needs some polishing? Or maybe I should just try and shoot DA all th...

Re: Unable to put slide back on
Not sure if this would help, but... I just got in the mail the hammer and recoil springs I ordered from Wolff. I was also having a hard time putting back the new recoil spring, not a problem if I use the old one but the new one just wont let the slide go right in. So I grinded both ends flat, just l...

Retitled: How I tamed the heavy DA pull
I just got the 18# hammer and 20# recoil springs I ordered from Wolff. I noticed that both springs are longer than the oem parts. I assume its because its new? Once installed, I do notice how light the DA pull is, compared to the old spring. But, just as with the original spring, the hammer gets hun...

Re: Unable to put slide back on
Are you sure the slide is properly aligned, all the way down under the frame's rail? Are you able to pull it back up and out to remove the slide?

Re: Safety middle position?
Mine does it too. The gun has been completely disassembled, thoroughly cleaned, reassembled and oiled. Nothing looks out of the ordinary, but when I move the decocker handle past the mid part, I did see the blocker move up halfway and the trigger moved freely, but the hammer is still in cocked posit...

Help! Where to get extractor plunger asap?
Where can I get one real quick? I just got my P64, Disassembled everything and cleaned the heck out, every nook/cranny. On re-assembly, everything went well on the receiver part. But as I started to work my way on the slide, the disconnector, plunger pin and spring went flying as it slipped my screw...

Re: Wolf Springs and Reliability - Testing
Which hammer and recoil springs were you using Curly? I read that those who used the 22lbs recoil springs with 18 lbs hammer springs, were the ones having issues?

Re: Wolf Springs and Reliability - Testing
Did you have any issues with mag dropping on last round, and slide failing to hold open with the 17 or 18 lbs spring?

Re: Spring questions
Hey Finloq, thanks for that specs info. my s&w springs are just a coil longer and a tad bigger on the ID/OD, hmm guess I'll wait till I get the pistol and see if it fits.

Re: Spring questions
And since the topic is spring, I probably should just ask here, instead of creating a new thread. Can anyone of you who ordered, or is using the Wolff hammer spring, the length and diameter of the springs? I'm still on my 9 days wait before I get to bring home my P64, break it down and see whats ins...
