FFL

It's a difficult row to hoe. A firearms dealer requires knowledge of a wide berth of products, intense record-keeping, and developing a known reputation in a community. It requires really secure storage and property. Even selling on Gunbroker.com only might be possible for a novice with some savvy, ...

granny get your gun

I think Granny should have stayed hidden and quiet, let the man leave, and then called the police and let them deal with him. I admire her intestinal fortitude, but she hadn't even learned how to use the handgun properly, and it nearly got her killed. Not wise.

Now you're cookin'! Glad to hear it. I've bought some nice rifles and cans of ammo from the CMP and have never been disappointed.

Ammo price warning!

As usual, I'm with Norm 110% on this. I use Wolf Gold Performance 8mm Mauser 196gr Copper SPs for my shooter M48A and Prvi Partisan .30-06 Springfield 150gr SPs for my M1 with the scout scope and for my Remington '03A3. The Silver Bear and Brown Bear are good ammo for the 9x18 pistols. I've shot a b...

Initialisms or "What Does THAT Mean?"

Actually, "initialisms." Acronyms are really pronounceable words like Nasa, Nato, radar, Fema, etc.
That is correct. An acronym is a word formed from the first, or first few letters of several words.

M,

I had morphine to help me out. Sounds like you're going through the meat grinder! I just wanted you to know that after you get through this you will be so much better! Hang in there, and may God bless you.

You cut a hole through that lung and buddy that's stopping power! A lot of calibers do that really well at pistol range. I mean, think of all the military and police personnel around the world that used 9mm Maks for years and years! Gee! It's a very deadly weapon! As a side note, if because of armor...

"Will penetrating oil "kill" primers?"

I could of sworn WD 40 would have screwed primers up in a loaded round NORM Me, too. I still will not be using WD-40. I only saw one kind of ammo there. Some primers could be sealed imperviously to the kerosene in WD-40, and some others might not. It's ambiguous, and he admits it on the first page....

New P-64 Caution

I have been exposed to too much over the years! I am particularly careful with hazardous chemicals. I use good ventilation in my shop extensively (fan) and in my outside cleaning areas. I use the correct PPE for my hands, eyes, and lungs. It is really pretty inexpensive if you are gonna use nasty c...
