The smaller end goes to the rear of the weapon.
I got the spring installed correctly. I guess I need to get feel if it.

Slide very difficult to reinstall

I am having a real problem reinstalling my slide. I have the trigger cocked, the spring installed correctly, and no magazine installed. I followed instructions on YouTube, and it seems once the slide is back it just falls into place. I have to try 6 or 7 times before it drops into place. Has anyone ...

I am confused with the sequence

I am going to start converting 9x19 to 9x18 cases. Would this be the proper sequence:
1. Tumble.
2. Deprime/case shaper with 9x18 die.
3. Expand to accept 9x18 size (.365) bullet.
4. Trim case to 9x18.
5. Charge case.
6. Seat bullet

Is this the sequence to use?

Thanks

I am looking for others, so if anyone is looking to downside, please let me know. Oh yeah, i am using ...

Wolf Springs

I just ordered the complete spring kit. The most important thing I want to have an easier mag release.
Can anyone suggest which springs to use?

Re: What did you carry today?

My P64 in a pocket holster I have for my S&W model 60-15 J Frame 3"..I will use this until I find a IWB holster.
This is the first weapon I have with an external safety. I like it. I never carried one in the chamber with my Glock 23.

No, we have a sand breeze... but the humidity is around 15%, which is good for these old bones....

Some help with the magazine release

I shot my P64 for the first time today. I could hardly push the mag release button. I practally broke my nail. I had to take the weapon upside down to push down. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to free up this release?
Thanks

Ouch

I tried out my $75 9x18 pistol this morning. This is what my hand looked liked after 24 rounds. Any ideas on how to reduce the effect of this ? It is the first time I shot the P64 and it shot well.
