C&R License

I don't have a C&R because I know me, and sometimes I don't trust me. However I had a conversation today with the FFL that I always use. He said that if I ever wanted a firearms liscense of any kind, I need to get it before the Hildabeast gets in. Does anyone else share his concern? Later Don

Dallas Gun Show

Market Hall is a busy gunshow. I got there at 10:30, had to wait in line, there was still a line when I left at 2:00. I thought I was going to have to buy a gun just so I could set down. I was mostly looking at AK stuff, and same as you said, AKs have gone up $30.00 since I was there in Sept. Later ...

A late Christmas present to me!

GR, I'm envious. You are going to love it. I don't have one but I carry an ultralite Taurus 38 in a hip grip. My theory is, you carry more than you shoot so be comfortable. You'll have plenty of knockdown power and you probably won't feel the kick if you actually have to use it. Later Don

cgs0409 It is a pleasure to be able to shoot at home. I'm 58, live in Oklahoma City. I was involved with Quarter Horses about 25 years ago. Do the names Easy Jet or Extra Easy mean anything to you? I was a ranch hand for a year between careers. Now I run a welding shop for a Waste Co. I'm lucky to h...

AK kit

While the weather had me trapped, I bought an AK kit. I think this is going to be fun to build. I think the fun will start right after my thumb stops hurting. I hit it trying to drive out a receiver rivet. I have since learned that these rivets have to be drilled. Any other tidbits from you guys tha...

Thanksgiving Shoot

Thanksgiving at my brother,s house is like going to an Eastern Bloc country. Mosin Nagants, Romanian Aks, Polish P-64s, Hungarian PA63s, Czech CZ-82, and I think the shotguns were all American made. 4wheelers in one area, turkey frying and beer drinking up by the big house, and all the guns on the S...

Crvena Zastava Mod 70 7.65 Yugo

I bought one several years ago because I read that Makarov.com was building a barrel for it that chambered the 32NAA round. It never happened or it least it never was made commercially. I like the pistol for the same reasons you do. I'm still hoping I can put the 32Naa barrel on it someday. Later Don

I'm a Bit Distressed About the Forum Tonight

I'm camping, and was real proud of the fact that I was able to wifi a connection just to check in. Then I saw the picture that TTH posted and I had to go for walk. I'm back but my throat still hurts a little. That picture said a lot. Thanks of posting it. Later Don
