Handguns in a Stress Situation
I myself have been in "stressful situations". Tunnel vision was my main problem, and can be to others because I focused out all around me and others may have the same problem. Learn your weapon. Learn to fire it at waste high position, no aim. The less you have to rely on your sights in a s...

Ammo
I have read that some people have trouble with their P-64 digesting JHP. IMO Hornady makes some pretty darn good ammo. It costs al little more( around $13.00 for 25) But in my mind, if someone needs to be shot, they deserve to be shot with the best ammo possible. Just thought I'd share.

loose safety
I did what Saands said to do in his thread and took all others into account to leave me open for options. Took it apart(no springs sprung)cleaned all I could, worked the detent some to give it a little more point. Checked the spring, it was about 7/8 in. and appeared to be in good shape. Put it all ...

O.K. I took apart safety and found the detent does'nt have a sharp cone on the end of it. It is rounded off and no point shows. Is there anything that I can do about this or am I up the proverbial creek with no paddle? Or is there something else I can do? I appreciate all of the help you guys have g...

My P-64 has a problem, after two or three rounds the safety drops down to a position where it won't fire. This ain't good. I know someone has run into this problem before and can give me some advice on how to fix the problem. Any help greatly appreciated!

My first P64 and first post
Welcome, this board is a wealth of info. I just bought my second P-64 this morning. Great firearm. And, by the way, Norm knows his stuff on the 64. Set me up with a trigger return spring that I broke while on the range a couple of weeks ago. Thanks Norm!! Works lide a champ.

New guy question on spring changes
I just read this thread on mainsprings. I changed mine out when I first bought it. I got a 16# spring from Wolff. The deal is, the spring was made for a PP. At the time I got the spring, I did not know they had springs made just for a P-64. Will this damage my gun? What # return spring do I need. Sh...

AimSurplus - PA63 Sale - $110
I have a PA-63 that I bought not long ago. As far as I am concerned it is a pretty darn good gun for the price. Some say that the alloy frame will crack after a period of use but, I have heard of guys shooting them for 4 or 5 years with no problem with the frame. Just keep shooting 95 gr or lighter ...

New trigger spring
Can anyone help me find a new trigger spring for my P64. I was one the range yesterday and mine broke. I found the instructions for installations which is going to be a big help if I find one. Thanks for any help.
