Ahoy!
My initial range report with the new P64 was indeed with stock springs.
The follow up is that the new 22# recoil and the 18# hammer spring do make a big difference.
Recoil is tamed, and DA pull on the trigger is delightful now.

Re: Range report and evaluation

Range report and evaluation
Good Day! :hi: The recently aquired P64 was taken to the local range and here is what I found out: 1. After reading all about others and thier experience with the P64 regarding accuracy, I found this to be absolutley correct! This little pistol is a 'dinger' for sure! No matter what the distance- 3,...

Re: safe to store magazines fully loaded?
Good Day! :hi: Currently I carry a Glock 21 on duty. In the 7 years I have carried this duty weapon, my magazines have been loaded since day one. We have monthly qualifications and that is the only time the magazines get used. I have noticed no problems with the mags and agree with Doubletap and the...

Re: Stiff de-cocker/safety
Once again the members of this forum have come through with sound advice. I did as suggested and removed the safety lever, polished it up and made it smooth................. cleaned and lubed the firing pin, and detent pin and spring. Now, although not sliky smooth, I can operate the lever with my t...

Stiff de-cocker/safety
Good Day!
Sorry if this has been covered before, but my de-cocker/safety lever is really stiff.
What can be done to smooth this up?
Thanks in advance- new P64 owner

Have one now!
Picked up at a local pawn shop a 1971 dated P64. Price out the door was 170.00. Typical great finish and clean barrel. It has a round hammer and safety/device seems stiff. Only 1mag with it and sn matches the one on the
Pistol. Will post pics and range report ASAP.

Re: WELCOME THREAD AND MEM, INFO
Greetings! Recently I found this forum, and have been reading the posts. Sure is a lot to learn here. As it is said "Knowledge is power" and with that I am going to start looking about the larger Gun Shows for a P64, if not found then will order up one from AIM or someplace. Again, such a ...
